I found the series entertaining to watch. Yes it's a little silly, but it's not trying to be anything else. Plus I love that it is an Aussie production.
The episodes aren't too long, there's enough humour vs drama. It's interesting to see all the scenarios play out as the ladies navigate survival, their friendships and the trauma of the situation they all have found themselves in.
It encourages you to image how you would fit into this situation had you the unfortunate displeasure of being in their position. Would you be a leader, a follower, or a disruptor. Would you fall apart and be useless to the group? What kind of survival techniques do you actual posses that could be helpful? Would you turn on the group and go feral?

I agree with the majority of positive reviews about the series. It strikes an excellent balance between lighthearted and emotional moments throughout.
What stood out to me was how the series skillfully avoided getting stuck on one particular path, and instead changed the premise several times. As a result, no subplot overstayed its welcome. I won't go into detail to avoid spoilers.
The last two episodes were slightly too chaotic and goofy compared to the earlier episodes. Some of the protagonists acted out of character, and their interactions were not as strong as they could have been. It felt like the writers had to move the overarching story forward, which was necessary to set up the series for another season.
Overall, the series was still highly enjoyable, and I would recommend it.

Hilarious female led comedy with instantly quotable moments and a ridiculously good all-Aussie cast. I had no idea what to expect when I saw this advertised and holy cow was it a fun ride.
Class of '07 kept us laughing through the apocalypse, helped along by a sharp script, generous plot and backstories, and great performances by new and seasoned performers. Watching the women regress to their high school selves in the face of the 'poco' is great in and of itself, but Class of '07 says and delivers so much more. The multi-layered commentary on lifelong friendships, female relationships and the enduring impact of school/teen years are woven together seamlessly atop laugh out loud slapstick moments.
Completely original, unpredictable and left me wanting a whole lot more. Bring on season two of the 'poco.

Lord of the flies but make it Aussie and silly
Didn't know what I was in for but definitely had some good cheeky Aussie humour, touched on some some emotional topics in between the silliness and dug in deep into trauma a lot of young women go through in their formative years and how they deal with it in their developing adulthood. Yes it's a bit silly, goofy and ridiculous most of the time and sure isn't what would be considered a cinematic masterpiece but it is a bit of enjoyable fun. Good development of quite a bit of the cast and good to see some recognisable faces take on more comedic roles.

Not normally a 'binger' - but wow! I've stopped at episode four because I'm really tired - but this show is wonderful. Unlike other streaming shows that hook you in for the the first two episodes and then pad and pad until the finale - every episode so far has progressed the storyline. The acting is fantastic, the storyline is out there (but also relatable), the direction is spot on, and the moments when the realization of what has happened around them... I cannot wait to finish this series. I've heard it called 'Lord of the Flies' with private school women - but that's dismissive of how truly well thought out, and well written this show is. Just love it.
