Winnie the Pooh is traditionally animated by Walt Disney Animation Studios, their first 2D animated film since A Princesa e o Sapo (2009) (2009). The film is based on five previously unadapted Winnie the Pooh stories from the original books.
Gopher is only featured in Ursinho Puff e a Árvore de Mel (1966) (1966), Ursinho Puff e o Dia Chuvoso (1968) (1968), and some episodes of As Novas Aventuras do Ursinho Puff (1988) (1988-1991). He is not a character in the original books, being created by Disney for their films. As a gag, it is occasionally mentioned by the other characters that Gopher is "not in the book". A stuffed Gopher does appear briefly during the credits.
Yes, there is, and in it, Backson makes an appearance.
