Anna Kendrick is in negotiations to co-star with Seth Rogen in the Los Angeles-set contemporary comedy drama “Babies.”

The film will be directed by Lauren Miller Rogen (“Like Father”) from her original screenplay.

“Babies” is an ensemble comedy drama about the journey to parenthood… or not. Struggling with the decision of whether or not to bring a child into the world, Annie (Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (Rogen) become instant co-parents when their newly-divorced friend moves into their home with her 3-year-old.

The film is set to begin production this November in Los Angeles.

AGC Studios and Monarch Media will co-finance and produce the movie alongside Lylas Pictures.

The 41-year-old actress has been spotted with Saul on multiple occasions across Europe these past couple weeks, leading to speculation about whether they’re just friends, working together, or something more.

Exclusive: Actress, director and producer Olivia Wilde will receive the Taormina Film Festival’s Creativity Award at the 71st edition of the event which runs June 10-14 in the hilltop Sicilian town.
