Teenage Girl: Skip Day

Very Nostalgic, great music, funny one-liners, took me back in time to my high school days. Cute cast, good life lesson, "It's ok to just be yourself" and those Mustangs were sweet!

Loved this movie! Great acting by strong women and a great message for teens and pre-teens! Lots of funny moments that are interspersed with a heartwarming message. And the soundtrack!!! ...reminiscent of the 1980s John Hughes films.

This movie is a MUST watch!

Watched it with my teenage daughter, it is so engaging and reflects everyday's reality. It was also very gunny and entertaining getting to see how girls felt taking to guys and building their confidence and personality in a world where bullying seems to be always a big obstacle on daily basis. Loved the cast too, they did such a great job transitioning throughout the film and sharing their own insecurities to help other teenage girls feel like they have a chance and everyone is always welcome to make a new circle of friends, it is one of my daughter's favorite movies and we are going to watch it again!

This coming of age romantic comedy has a little bit of everything including girl power!

Alayna cares about her studies and would rather be in class than participate in senior skip day. However her hopes of seeing her big time high school crush during a skip day party changes her mind. The audience is taken along for the ride as the fun begins and Alayna has the adventure of her life with her friends and some unexpected tag alongs. If you like to laugh out loud this is your kind of movie.

This film is fun, silly and poignant. The nostalgia of the 80's with the simplicity of a fun adventure that happens during a senior skip day. All the adventures I used to have in high school are in this movie. Trying to get into parties when not all my friends were the cool kids.

Plus the four lead girls are funny, have good chemistry and actually made me cry. Looking forward to seeing them in other projects!
