You might be thinking , I have written something being emotional as my caption but I mean it , atleast I have no hopes left.

Harsh reality is we are a one country on face of it but internally we never were one and we never will be . Castes , religions , languages, greed for power , greed to rule , morally corrupt , no remorse etc defines our country. Sometimes its very saddening to think that such great people fought and gave their lives for this country to happen coming to the technical stuff, I loved dev katta's prasthanam and he did not disappointed here either.

Acting everyone justified their part and tej is improving with every movie also loving his script selection.

A must watch!!

I thought the ending would be like normal commercial movies but it was different and very well scripted story with strong message try to watch at least once.

Watch it only if you can deal with reality ! A hard hitting movie. Sai dharma tej did his best.

Watch something's else if you want to get entertained.

I too want to be an IPS but this movie shows that It's not so easy to do our job even after became an IPS hard hitting good story with lot of emotions and scary stuff. :(

It's not easy to understand deva Katta's writing and it's depth. People now a days like only useless movies like Love Story. These type of movies take time to become a success. Movie was about lengthy but there's too much depth in the movie. We do research for Nolan films even though we wouldn't understand a bit Even Deva Katta's movie need the same research in order to understand. This is going to be another Cult Classic after two years. I am requesting those routine and commercial movie lovers to skip this one because they say it's bad without understanding anything.

The movie was really good. If not for the action and elevation scenes (I liked it but without them it would have been more natural) the movie is really a hard hitting one. The climax was something I didn't expect. Worth the watch.

Republic (2021) : Brief Review -

A Powerful and Exposive Speech on System, Politics, Law & Justice and Administration Services with Poignant and Heartbreaking Climax. Republic is not that typical Telugu movie but yes it has few of those typical moments favoured for mass lovers. It's a very powerful film overall from critic's point of view and also very entertaining one from normal audience's point of view. When mass cinema meets a socially empowering content with classy features! That's all i can say about Republic. An IIT gold medalist gets pulled into the Indian Administrative Services, where he confronts the newly elected political establishment. He fights the corrupt system and awakens people and law & order but then what happens in the climax is truly surprising, heartbreaking, sharp and extremely relevant. The film shows the power of republic but at the same time it also tells us that how we people only are killing it. Democracy is a blessing as well as a curse and this film ends up with that immortal thought that will shatter your views about system and republic. It's not that hard-hitting and realistic, like recently we saw 'Jai Bhim' being Hard-hitting, rather it is action filled masala film with social message. There are few things in the film which looks completely unrealistic and filmy. Like, an IAS officer going on work in Casual clothes while his lower officers wear formal clothings. The heroic image of an UPSC topper, love angle and father's relationship feel dramatic too. The performances, direction and technical aspect are very supporting. Republic tests your knowledge about the intellectual cinema with that climax while rest of the time it is quite a massy and entertaining film. However, some speeches in the film will leave you speechless for sure. Overall, a fantastic attempt and damn effective too. You must give it a try for your own conscience and social awareness.

Republic is an intense political drama. Good to watch go for it.

The film is cliche in regards to Telugu Films , the trailer makes you expect something different. The social message is well intended but doesn't get to the audience since the plot shows theres only the good side and the bad side this is an unrealistic element in Telugu films which has been overused, the social message could have been conveyed through a negative , dark shade for realism if that was the intent of the movie, but since their intent is to show the lead actor like a hero for the masses ,it just feels cheap and something the audience has seen since the dawn of time , perhaps this story would have suited a well established actor who specialises in the hero category like Mahesh Babu.

A hidden gem among the mighty commercial tollywood cinema's ....A must see àlso easily a best of 2021 flicks ,kudos to the director and a milestone for tej.

Telugu cinema industry's biggest curse is it's audience. Movie like this is very rarely made. Even that is not encouraged by audience who only have developed taste for only mass, illogical movies. The subject and story is reflection of our current social, political and economic system. Very well made cinema that keeps you glued to the seats. If this movie was made in any other language, It would have been a blockbuster.

As people are expecting change by voting alternate party on the basis of caste and money but the same will repeat like what happen in the movie. Sai Dharmtej your present choice of movies are too good. Keep doing good work and I wish get well soon my dear friend.

Deva Katta has done a terrific job in show casing today's reality. There isn't even a single scene which is unnecessary. Think before you vote. Change starts with you. May be not in a day, month or year but hope some day it will. Stay true to yourself.

First of all devakatta sir tq for showing the reality without any compromises I have watched prasthanam also one of the best movie and I hope after that movie this movie need to be recognised in that manner Sai dharam tej is good Ramya Krishnan is always superb but I felt disturbed after watching the climax I felt you could have avoided it. It's a great movie anyway.

Deva Katta only known for Vennela and Prastanam. After watching Republic trailer got some hopes it'll be his 3rd hit. When I started watching this movie I feel wow what a interesting scenes in the beginning. Slowly movie graph was down. Director had much room to elevate few scenes but he was upset. Jathara song episode complete waste even song also not catchy. More editing work required. Expecting some interesting scenes after hero become special collector.

The movie is good but sai tej nailed his character career's one of the best performes.

Not all movies carry the required usual south indian masala, this is a movie about facts, movies are not just about pure entertainment but few also influence and educate people they fall under critically acclaimed but may not be pure commercial orientated. But this movie is something like that a real fact finder..

Awesome direction, best story, eye opener to all Indians, Sai Dharam best acting.

The message convinced is so powerful. The end was realistic,showed a realistic other side of life of power play. Love the movie, nice actors, acting was great, great story line, great set up, wonderful message that touched my heart.

What a movie, every aspect of the movie is top notch, must watch political drama.

The movie doesn't give an average audience anything he demands( comedy, aerial action fights, songs, romance) after the first half an hour. The movie is gonna be downtrodden now and later be considered a cult like prasthanam. The movie questions and doesn't give an adequate answer and gives us a chance to introspect but people r not gonna like movies where they r not spoon-fed and the hero's view may not be right. So yeah ig until audience see deva katta spiral like Chandrasekar yeleti, they aren't gonna accept him and unfortunately that's the sad state of telugu cinema.
