20 is a satirical film noir written and directed by Christiano Dias about the movie making business.

The setting is the modern day movie studio. A security guard working for 20 years has written a screenplay involving the people he knows and works with an imagines them in a film noir thriller setting.

The film he imagines is in moody black and white but with coloured inserts here and there, the music is suitably noirish imitating the style of Bernard Herrmann. Dias has done well in capturing the monochrome lighting and the photography with close ups of the typewriter and its mechanisms again imitating the noir genre.

Although the visuals are strong, some of the acting is on the weak side and rather lets the short down.
