Tethered

First of all, congrats on all of your hard work!!! It's a lot more work than people realize to make a film and it was done on a very small budget.

It's ok, I'd give it a C. The film is good quality and the acting is decent, but I'll be honest, it didn't grab my attention as much as I'd hoped it would based on the synopsis.

This is one of those hidden gems that you stumble upon and wonder how you hadn't heard about it sooner. Right from the start, the film grips you with its intense atmosphere and intriguing characters. What really sets it apart, though, are the plot twists that keep coming just when you think you've got it all figured out.

The story takes you on a rollercoaster ride, with twists that make you second-guess everything you've seen so far. The suspense builds steadily, and just when you start to feel comfortable, the movie pulls the rug out from under you. Each twist is cleverly crafted, adding layers to the story and keeping you glued to the screen.

By the time the credits roll, you're left in awe of how the film managed to keep you on the edge of your seat right up to the very end. Tethered isn't just a good film; it's a masterclass in storytelling that delivers surprises in spades. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you guessing, this one is definitely worth your time.

I stumbled upon Tethered while scrolling through prime the other night. I vaguely remembered the trailer, which didn't particularly grab my attention, but something about the thumbnail made me click play. Honestly, the movie looked so much better than I expected, way beyond what the trailer had shown.

As I got into it, I was pleasantly surprised by how the plot unfolded. It's packed with twists that I didn't see coming, keeping me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Every time I thought I had it figured out, the story threw in another curveball. It was one of those films where you think you're watching one thing, but it turns out to be something entirely different-and in the best way possible.

There's rarely a move I can't finish, but this move is one of those few exceptions. Horrible acting and direction with characters never taking a moment to consider a response, just rattling off their lines like they're late for lunch. No facial expressions, no reaction in their eyes, nothing.

And with dialog like "Hello detectives, what can I do for you detectives, would you like to come in detectives, and have a seat detectives" it's clear the writers have no idea how people actually talk.

Stinky.

A decent sci-fi mystery set in the present day, following Detective Sam Morris as she tackles a missing-persons case that quickly becomes more complicated than anticipated. The story weaves together elements of mystery and personal drama, with Sam's own life becoming increasingly entangled in the investigation.

While the premise is intriguing, the execution feels uneven at times. The plot has its moments of suspense, but some twists come off as predictable, and the pacing can drag in parts. The blending of sci-fi elements with a detective story is interesting, but the narrative doesn't always fully capitalize on its potential.

Overall, this offers an intriguing concept, but it may not fully satisfy those looking for a more tightly woven or unpredictable mystery.
