Return of the King is focused on Presley's 1968 Comeback Special, a live concert performance Presley delivered on a TV program a little more than a decade after he made it big. Although Presley had become an international sensation just a few years after he began his singing career in 1954, Presley's time in the army had diminished his popularity somewhat.

Presley's many movie performances didn't help the matter, as the movies not only pulled Presley away from his music for five years but also proved to be largely unpopular, particularly as the years went on. It’s only been a couple of months since we last saw Barbadian pop sensation Rihanna bless the world with her new song, titled Lift Me Up, for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. But more than that, it has been several years now since the singer took the stage and graced us with a live tour or a performance, the most recent being an exception.

The harrowing thing, however, is that after taking a hiatus, an unreleased album, and all in all, a fading legacy of songs, Rihanna decided to perform at Ambani’s wedding. And that is exactly what the people noticed when they talked about the sheer amount of money that’s been thrown at this event and how money is a magical thing.

It was the year 2017 when Shakka revealed that he and Rihanna were working on her latest album and that it was ‘absolutely insane’. As the years went on, the album became a myth and was never released.

Just as it did in its first season, “The Bear” Season 2 created a powerful soundtrack, thanks to executive producers Josh Senior and Christopher Storer, who also oversee the series’ music. From Otis Redding and Pearl Jam, to R.E.M. and Taylor Swift, the duo were able to tell a story of itself through the needle drops — something that is just as important to them as the writing itself.

When the writers room began, the group made a playlist and started sharing ideas with others on the team and even some of the actors, with Senior noting that Ayo Edebiri “is super helpful” in the entire process.

“It’s the most fun thing we get to do on the show, in my opinion. It’s a blast,” says Senior. “Sometimes we take all the songs out and see if we miss them. Other times, we use the songs to syncopate the scenes and cut them really fast.
