Fu shi shuang Jiao zhuan

As good as this show is, the acting, scenery and story is good. I feel that too many of this type of show is very much repetitive. The main characters fall in love, but can't be with the one's they love. The evil mother in law / empress / sister in law to ex emperor is the main bad guy. The enormous amount of back stabbing - verbally and acting - is beyond belief. I began to really enjoy these shows, but now i'm getting bored with the continuous repeat scenarios and repetitive nature of them. Surely they can think of better twists and turns than churning out the same old tripe. These shows are rapidly destroying my faith in the ability of Asian tv and films, as they are all too similar in the storyline.
