Eraser Children

This film is great! The story is intense and some of the dark scenes leave you feeling pretty sad but that is all how you should feel because that is what the characters are feeling.

A very very talented group of young filmmakers have made this film for a low budget of $15 - $20 thousand. I saw it in Sydney at the Dendy cinemas. It really made me think after I watched it and so to me that is a sign of a great film.

Nathan Christoffel is a director to watch out for. He is only in his mid twenties so I am predicting big things from him. This is a great first effort. So ambitious! I would really like to see what he can do with a proper budget and paid actors because what he has done with no resources and actors that have no experience is just an amazing achievement. Hats off to the team! I hope the team of Nathan and Adrian Kristoffersen (the DOP of the film) stick together because when I watched them talk at the screening it was obvious that they have a great working relationship. A great film!

I don't think this film is for everyone. But I have to say I really enjoyed it. I saw it in Melbourne at a preview screening. I didn't know what to expect. It was made on a pretty low budget but looks really tops.

The story follows a worker who is stuck in a totalitarian society and taken underground by a old kinda hopeless man who thinks he can change the world by killing the leader.

I saw it on a pretty small projection screen so I would like to see it again in a cinema. All in it was a lot of fun. I recommend it to people who like movies a bit different.

I love going to film festivals and seeing something I never would get the chance to see. I watched Eraser Children in Colorado. I really liked it.

Visually it looks stunning and the storyline is something new to me which is nice. In the film technology seems to be worse than it is now and fuel has run out (which I think will happen to us soon). This film comments on these current issues but in a more of the vein of a satire.

The actors are great with highlights being the transvestite maid in all the commercials and the actor that plays one of the leads, Alfred. You can see these filmmakers have a clear style. Would be interesting to see what they do next.

I saw this film at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival. It won the award for Best Film that year. What a film! What an achievement! The director said it cost $15,000 to make. It is amazing what they have created for such a small cost. It shows what can be done be a talented group when they dedicate themselves to something. I hope it gets a cinema release because it deserves it! The story is great and reminded my of some of my fav films. It has the vibe of 1984 but is not the same. Well done to all involved. I am very keen to see what the director does next. I have been looking at his previous films. Looks like this is his first feature film. 10/10

Good morning my people! I loved this movie from start to finish! I get the similarities that people draw from movies like 1984 and Brazil but really don't see a lot of it. I thought of Clockwork Orange and yes some Gilliamisms but overall a fresh take and a very good effort for first time filmmakers doing it on their own.

I'd like to have seen it on a big screen because I think it would gain a very big cult following. I checked films like Brazil on this site and it's funny how many people love it and how many people hate it. I think this film will be much the same. It's either a love hate type film.

If you're into boring romantic comedies. Or uninspiring teen crap then this film won't suit you. If you like to watch cinema for a good in-depth story with well crafted characters then I recommend Eraser Children! I love you Maximum Blizzard! Oh and the sound track is stunning. LOVE IT!
