A group of friends with their children go on a traditional long weekend trip on the Danish island of Bornholm. An incident between children will trigger a wave of crisis in their relationships.

Two families spend their traditional short vacation together on the Danish island of Bornholm. The campers are parked on a prime beach location and a tent is pitched for the three boys - so far, so good. But an incident with the children throws the idyll off balance: what begins as an immature quarrel gradually develops into a full-blown argument. The pitfalls of raising children, midlife crises and marital problems are soon ruthlessly exposed - and the originally relaxing vacation turns into a purifying purgatory.—ARD
