This game has been out for about a year and a half as of me writing this review. That being said I was going no to play the game when it first launched but decided to give it some time. This was mostly because I wanted to see the reviews and what other people thought of the game. Once I saw that the game had flopped and that it did not live up to what I hoped it had I decided not to get it. That is until I saw that it was only 10 dollars for my console and I decided to give it a shot. I booted up the game and got to the tutorial which was honestly a very poorly designed way to teach players how to play the game. But once I slogged through it and I actually got into the game I found myself enjoying the experience. Traversal is extremely fun and more than once I found myself switching to the different characters just to enjoy their unique style of traversal. This was the same for the gun play. The animations were smooth and I was actually decently impressed. Not only had the game impressed me but it actually had me wanting to come back to it. Yes the missions were repetitive but I was having fun. That doesn't mean that there wasn't problems though. Honestly the story had me hooked at the beginning the first boss battle was fun and there was actually a couple really good heart felt moments. This however was just in the beginning. Most of the game (besides some stellar moments) is the Suicide Squad being idiots with no real connection being made between the player and the character we are playing as. If they had replaced a couple joke lines of dialogue with some real heartfelt and impactful content then I would have been routing for the ragtag team of villains more than I found myself doing. Honestly I found myself routing for the hero's we were fighting more than anything. I actually really like the premise of the game. Flipping the villains and hero's roles is actually really interesting. However I never felt like the villains truly lived up to being the hero's even after they had saved the world. It just felt off like they had a good premise but not good execution. Over all I don't think that the game was actually a total disaster the gameplay is fun but the story is half baked. They had all the right pieces they just couldn't execute it right. I'm glad that I didn't spend full price but if you are wanting to buy the game I would go for it. It's honestly really fun to just mess around in if you don't take the story to seriously.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League by Rocksteady is a travesty, a pitiful excuse for a game. They didn't just fail Batman; they mercilessly butchered the Dark Knight's legacy. The storytelling is an incoherent mess, and the way they handled Batman's demise is an insult to every fan who invested in this franchise. Rocksteady managed to strip away the essence of what made Batman great and turned it into a mockery. Spare yourself the agony and don't waste a dime on this pathetic excuse for a game. Batman deserved better, and so do you.
DONT BUY THIS GAME AND WASTE YOUR MONEY
THIS GAME IS DISAPPOINTING GAMEPLAY , STORY IS WORST.

I am so disappointed in Rocksteady. For a company that is known for taking pride in there game's does not show here, Suicide Squad is unfinished and unplayable. Every mission I complete puts me in a frozen loading Metropolis screen or will load me completely off the map in blackness and I can not play unless I go to the checkpoint that was made before the last, with means I can't even finish the game if I wanted to. Not to mention the gameplay being extremely repetitive and boring. I'm a huge of the first 3 Arkham games, but I can say now Suicide Squad has done nothing but kill the Arkham verse.
I've had an IMDb account for over 6 years and have never left a review, and having just beaten this game, I felt like this would be fitting.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a mediocre game, it's not as bad as some are suggesting, the characters control well, the gunplay is better than I expected and there are some genuinely fun moments to be had here, but as a package, when you compare this to Rocksteady's previous Arkham trilogy, it leaves a lot to be desired.
The story is serviceable, though it should not have taken place in the 'Arkhamverse', as from a continuity standpoint it does not flow well from the Arkham games, and one could make a compelling case that the events of this game diminish and de-value the events of the previous Arkham games.
The biggest issue this game faces though is the gameplay, missions are extremely repetitive and some of the side-missions impose certain modifiers like grenade only kills or having to shield harvest enemies, these are extremely annoying and are sometimes insta-fail, as the game won't spawn enemies you can shield harvest or drop grenades - it feels like minimal, if any playtesting was done here.
I would not recommend paying full price here, I could only ever recommend you consider this game when on-sale or if a steep discount is available, and being that this game is an always online, games as a service, the servers could be shut down at any moment, should WB games deem it to be economically unviable to continue supporting this game.
The developer (Rocksteady) has outlined post-launch content and promised at some point in 2024, there will be an offline mode, but these are just promises, and as we've seen with live-service games before, if the player base falls and the game isn't selling well, even this might not come to fruition.

I agree, the game has it's problems... a lot of them, the story seems lazy and Joker's DLC is trash not disagreeing there, but there are some positives
The traversal for the characters are a lot of fun, the map is easily a 10/10 for me, and the gunplay is just depending on what you like & don't
Story: 3/10 but it could change if they release the rest of the story
Gameplay: 7/10 it's fun but does get repetitive
Characters: 7/10 I enjoy the characters in the game, I don't know why they made Deadshot black.
At the moment I don't recommend buying the game at the $70 asking price, better to wait for it to go on sale, if the game survives that long.

- CuriosidadesCaptain Boomerang (George Harkness) has super-speed in this game. This is a trait used by his son Owen Mercer (the second Captain Boomerang), who was a superhuman in contrast to his normal father.
- Erros de gravaçãoAfter killing Green Lantern, King Shark puts on the ring and gains the Lantern's powers. This goes completely against the lore from the comics, as when a Green Lantern dies, the ring flies off on its own and seeks out a new wearer, not just anyone can put it on and gain its powers. Furthermore, the ring would never allow its wearer to use the powers for evil purposes, so if Green Lantern was being manipulated to perform evil, it would leave him and render him powerless.
