Vreme zla

For anyone who has read the book, the series is a real disappointment. The screenwriter placed the love story of Milena and Bogdan Dragovic at the center of the plot, and the character of Bogdan is portrayed in an utterly unconvincing and poor manner. This is because the producer of the series cast himself in the role of the seducer and dangerous spy, which doesn't suit him at all.

The story develops slow and some importunate parts of the book were missed. Scenes last unreasonably long, and their unnecessary length does not give them any artistic form.

All in all, *Vreme zla* is a masterful literary work by Dobrica Cosic, but the series is terribly poorly made, with an emphasis on the wrong things.
