A Trip Down Memory Lane

The setting & scenery all added to the nostalgia of the the time period, along with the music. A slow starter but the story soon unfolds. Well acted by the three main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed it

Rising politician and fallen women change history

I was in the mood for that kind of film, that's why I'm giving it such high score. It's sizzling and sexy. There's comedy and drama and it's very down to earth, even though I think most of it is fiction. I liked the more serious parts, such as the old brothel madame sharing her words of wisdom to the young girl who's head over heels in love. Love hurts.

Films like this are a rare find.

A truly remarkable screenplay, capturing yet elegant In so many ways. Enjoyable throughout with an excellent performance from Walton Jones. will be shortlisting future films.

Bittersweet fairy tale

Saw this at the world premiere (online) and I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed a bit slow and too sweet at first, but you need to watch it to the end to understand why this was necessary, as it takes on much darker notes in contrast as the story evolves. I really liked the actors and the overall visual style. It's a fairy tale for grown ups, even though it doesn't necessarily have a happy ending.
