Unique, the best series, where a girl-woman in the time between the two world wars is extremely accurately portrayed. People are shown with their virtues and flaws, and the path Angelka walks is the path of the brave and daring. Freedom is unique, and the legendary Sotra has once again 'entered' the noble human soul.

In today's age of technology and all kinds of material 'progress' where the human soul of the individual is marginalized, where various reality shows and kitsch as well as wealth are success, this lively series includes ordinary people and their true nature, love and longing, hopes and everyday problems.

This is the quite a bit of a fresh air in Serbian series production. In this recent years, all of them look alike.

It was fun watching it, but some of you can say it is a "girl" series. That is in a way true, a lot of crying, dreaming, finding a true love...etc. I know that my mom liked it. It's based on the novel by Mir-Jam with the same name. The only problem is that it has no possibility to continue after first season (probably the only one), because story ends, but who knows, right?

True love story of long forgotten romances and some new ones, happening in a very romantic time between two world wars. Young woman and her passion.

Anyway, worth watching.

After zillion of inspired-by-the-war series and movies, including explicit descriptions of tears and blood shed all over former Yugoslav territory; after the era of movies that left us a little or no hope at all - this is nice refreshment. Love, lust, sin, regrets, emotions... I believe that something like "Wounded eagle" is what we need: a long forgotten feelings, something we need to remind us what we are made of: flash and blood, I know; but also emotions, memories, moments we live for... The fact that everybody is talking about Andjelka and "wounded eagle" and how they found love, tells a lot that we are thirsty of such subtle and fine emotions which are served to us in this story... A fairytale, the one we'd like to see, again. The reason why it got 8/10 and not 10/10 from me is poor acting by some of actors amongst, generally speaking, good cast. However, nice emotions prevailed...

It was ended last night, it's already in anthology of Serbian drama. One of the best TV Shows in past decades. I really loved it!

It's a story about a girl with tragical destiny, trapped by a little mistake made in amorous passion, while she was a young girl - she lost her virginity in a time when it was a big problem (the plot was put between I and II world war). That act will result many bad things to be happened, complicating her life more and more. Her husband left her the first night of their honey-moon on the seashore. The men that was her "first", and who send her a letter that he died, appears again in her life. And so on...

Divorced and mentally devastated, everywhere she goes, people admire her, her beauty and character.

Immediately after she left a husband, she meets a man, a monoplane pilot, that falls in love with her at first sight. But he didn't have enough time to make contact, she leaves a seashore, and now he must find her. Only lead he has is her notebook that she lost, and he found, and a picture in it that becomes his amulet...

Although the main character is a girl, this is also a story about different kinds of men - the male characters are very dominant here.

Best Serbian actors, one of the best Serbian director, and interesting life story - all in all, you shouldn't miss this one!
