I'm Not Him

The acting was very good, especially Annie Heise and Audrey Bennett. The story was well written and direct. It had a strong Catholic lean to it, but wasn't promoting Catholicism just having a relationship with God. And was brought out: well w having a relationship with God and praying to Him in such a way that you are "talking" to God. As advice from the main actor to others was it's not just spending time repeating prayers, but being personal in your prayers.

It wasn't a predictable movie even though there were a couple times when you knew what was coming next. But it kept you watching to see all that was going to happen. It is one I have recommended to some friends and one I would watch again.

Like others, I rated it an10 and it was well worth it.

The plot is quite different from other faith based films, because events in the latter half are unusual. I liked the fact that he simply kept believing all along.

Solid performances and very entertaining.

Love Annie Heise and Matt Lawler and Nancy DeMayo is cute as Jane . I really thought good family entertainment.

With so much strife, racial tension, pandemic difficulties, financial challenges because of all these other issues-here comes a story that has at the heart to look into our lives and reflect on what matters the most. Putting financial gain aside and find satisfaction in helping others. It is a simple message full of compassion, dedication, conviction, and purpose, with faith and believing in more than one's own abilities to make the world turn around each day.

This movie reminded my wife and I about the importance of trusting God in every situation or circumstance, no matter what things look like, knowing that He is leading our steps and not us. God has always been Faithful to us and our family, as we have fully believed in Him. He is our source and supply, for we walk by faith and not by sight. It was beautiful to see the trust in God that Jim walked in throughout the movie even though he didn't know fully what would happen to him. Obeying God in every situation is the most important thing regardless of the cost. I believe this movie, during these times we are living in, is a truly beautiful reminder to "be about our Father's business".
