The concept is great it looks amazing. But they should have contestents go through multiple rounds so they can use what they learned from previous round. Thereby creating another level of competition and making more elaborate stages possible.

Yeah, it's not what I had expected.
Although it's kind of funny see the people trying to find a way out, it's not that thrilling.
The participants find some solutions so fast that I suspected they were actors just, you know, acting there. Also the narrator is SO annoying yelling ALL the time while saying what they're doing.
It could be better, way better!

This hilariously scripted show is best viewed as a drinking game.
I'm extremely intoxicated right now, so I can not really write out a coherent sh*it.
Shot if: -too cringe scripted. Especially "omg don't sacrifice yourself!"...
BTW, any average athlete (ninja warrior) can run across this to the exit.... just need to find a fit/fake family member. ..
Ok. No list im drunk

I LOVED shows like American Ninja Warrior and Wipeout, and I expected to like this too. But man it's bad. The contestants obviously know the course already and pretend they don't. One contestant says, "Woah what's that stick on the wall?", as if he had no idea it was there but clearly he was told about it before. Narrator is obnoxious, and contestants even more so. SKIP THIS ONE.

Funny show, but my main problem is the announcer. he seems to always spoil what's going to happen before it happens. like when someone tries something risky and i'm curious on if it'll work and he goes all "what could possibly go wrong?" and of course they fall. his jokes are also pretty unfunny. surprisingly i don't have a problem with the guests themselves, jus the announcer.

My kids and I were so excited to watch this, only to be so disappointed in how badly the show turned out. I'm not sure how they could botch such a great idea, but they did.
Unfortunately, the show is not very entertaining, and they spend probably half of the show interviewing the contestants. And when they finally show the obstacle course portion, the contestants negotiate them so agonizingly slowly that we barely made it through 3 episodes before just calling it quits. And that's even after fast-forwarding through the boring interview portions of the show and just watching the obstacle course portion. Part of the problem is that the contestants spend a lot of time just standing around yelling at each other instead of getting through the course. There's no real sense of urgency or competitiveness or sadly, any entertainment because of this.
Unlike other similar stunt shows where the commentary is witty and at least partially funny to supplement the on-screen action, the commentator for this show is mostly one guy just yelling loudly. Some of the contestants try to make funny comments, but they sound forced and it gives me the sense that a lot of the "dialogue" between the contestants were dubbed after the fact.

I watched all episodes in 2 days, actually some teams made me laugh so hard . It was fun to watch. If there will be second season, rooms must be bigger. It's a good show.
Update for second season : omg bigger rooms and more challenging. It was super funny. I like it and I hope it will be another season. Maybe best of the best can be in the show.
Update for third : actually nothing new here but still hilarious.

This show could be good if they cut out all the long introductions to the teams (that sound like the production company put them up to because they are just stereotypical tropes) and all the scripted chatter between contestants. Why does it seem each person on every team takes a different route and the exact routes we were explained in the beginning? Sometimes short cuts are painfully obvious and are completely ignored by everyone.
The premise is good but the production makes this seem like something for sheltered kids who's parents wouldn't let them watch ninja warrior because the name sounded scary.

Miss Wipeout and want to see more people hit themselves against objects? Prepare for basically the same thing but with easier, less entertaining courses that have "puzzles" a 9-year old could solve and a more annoying host. It's dumb but it's short, watchable, and moderately entertaining.

Omg. No offense to the host, but this would have been somewhat watchable without the constant narration and over explaining of the course.
I mean, geeze Louise. The first episode had over 6 minutes of intro before the first round started.
Skimmed through to later episodes to give it a chance because pilots are usually a little rough, and it was the same exact thing. It would appear that they taped everything in one day.
The best part of this show is the title.

Garbage. I couldn't do more than 10 minutes of this cringe fest. Literally the lines from the contestants to the way they got through the room was entirely scripted. How it reached top in Netflix makes me completely suspicious of the entire Netflix rating platform. Avoid this garbage altogether. When I first started watching 10 minutes ago I thought this would be another version of the Show wipe out. Boy was I wrong.

I feel like I'm being kind giving this a 6. The concept for the show is good. It has that 'why didn't I think of this' vibe since it's based off a thing we all did as kids whenever we where home without parents.
However, this host 'Rutledge Wood' could SERIOUSLY tone back on the obvious puns and observations! Yelling everything that is happening as we see it! He has that 'annoying children's show' host syndrome where I feel like I'm losing brain cells just listening to this guy! From as predictable as lines like "And the doctor is in!" to really bad puns where a guy jumps onto platform that looks like cheese and Rutledge comes in with "Looks like John is the Big Cheese now!" 0.0
The only thing he's missing is a Krusty the Clown laugh at the end of every sentence. 'HuhuHEHAA'
I'd be willing forgive it some what if this was a live show and he had to come up with stuff on the spot but no! This is all edited after the fact with his ADR voice over! Meaning, this is the best he was willing to come up with! It doesn't get any better the more you watch.
Good concept in the same realm of reality shows like Wipeout or American Ninja Warrior but man do they need to get the host under control.

Seriously?! Don't anyone watch these shows before they air? This could easily been a million times better (would still not be a great show) with some small tweaks. First of all, reduce the commentary with at least 95%. No need to tell us exactly what we're seeing. The contestants reasoning while they're doing stuff should be enough and the narrator is unnecessary and honestly quite annoying. The only thing that got me through the first episode was turning the sound off.
Second of all, one replay is plenty. After the first replay it's just plain boring.

My daughter really likes the show, and cheers for the winners and is sad for the losers. With all the nearly head hits I'm surprised they don't wear helmets! I just saw someone chin bash the table in the kitchen that would hurt!
I think some of the contestants are a bit too dramatic

I like the idea of turning this classic home game into a show, I think this was a first of that. I also liked the different rooms and settlements inside the show. In every episode there is a winner from that specific batch, this was nice as well as it gives you a conclusion in case you stop watching after a while :) The show is fun, overall.
The things I didn't enjoy, however, was the overly joking attitude of the host, and some (for some reason) extra annoying contestants. The host is joyful and energetic, that's alright, but dude seriously you don't have to attempt to crack a joke every single time! Some contestants were the same as well. I mean just do your thing, jump, climb etc. and leave, nobody is interested to hear your past Tinder date man; at least, this was not supposed to be the that kind of show.
Nonetheless, I'm really hoping they make some improvements and come back with a second season.

The idea of the show is pretty good and is somewhat entertaining.
They do need to explain the rules and the idea of the show more.
And for god's sake! Stop with the annoying, loud and in your face contestants. Everyone I have seen on the show do far has annoyed me.

One of the better recent obstacle course game shows. I really liked the concept. The courses were a little short but they were done well. I hope they come out with a 2nd season soon. Hopefully they make them a little longer and all original. 👍👍

My family watches it together. My kids have a few suggestions for next season:
-a toy room -a nursery (a mobile could drop from the ceiling!) -a bathroom
Hope we get to watch more seasons!

Just watch the first twenty minutes of the episode, and trust me, it wont be long before you start losing brain cells. Great for young viewers who eat up theatrics.

Was hoping for a Wipeout type family show. These rooms could be mastered in 4 minutes, but I think the contestants are told to stand around and say half assed encouragement and guidance to each other.
Cringey is a good descriptor

I think there should be more competition. Teamwork is fine.
But I don't want to see team after team re-do the same stuff the others just did.
Also, the commenter makes the show worse with dumb comments and an annoying voice.
Still ok.

The obstacles are the only interesting part of the show and they get old fast.
The host stretches 8 minute runs into 20 minute segments using slow motion replay for every step a player takes and one liners so cheesy they have you running to the bathroom.
Any puzzle aspects are immediately lost as every team appears to know the intended purpose of every object in the room as if they were briefed prior to their run.
If that wasnt enough, the final nail in the coffin is the name. Instead of calling it "the floor is lava" contestants and the host have to continuously try to work in just "floor is lava" without sounding like cavemen.
