Expresso do Destino

A Turkish dramatic film. It is about a girl who is going to avoid the wedding of her ex, for that she gets on a train without paying the ticket and her cabin companion accompanies her in a process of self-discovery. The film is divided into chapters and parts. Arrhythmic. Parsimonious in moments. Most of it takes place on a train and there are only two characters. The script is spectacular, slightly sly and smart. It deals with what it is to heal after a relationship, infidelity, self-love, vulnerability, to find ourselves again. It is not a romantic comedy, although it might seem. He gets to play depth shots without being pretentious. This movie is not for everyone, it could get boring if you do not enjoy the long soliloquies that the characters waste.

It is a new movie on Netflix. The first scene is in Ankara and the feeling it makes you think that it is going to be a good movie. I believe it is one of its kind in Turkish cinema.

Netflix Turkey made not very brilliant productions in the past but using 2 people they have finally made a relaxing and peaceful movie. Ms.Deniz and Mr.Akdülger perform realistically and they play as they are living the thing. Some dialogs are not well-written to not be distinguished from others. The movie can be classified as alternative and tranquil.

This kind of movie you need to have patience to watch it, sadly I'm not a doctor. But in the filming perspective, it upholds certain standard thus I rate 4.

"Yarina Tek Bilet" is a Turkish romantic drama capturing the bittersweet essence of love and a second chance. Dilan Çiçek Deniz and Metin Akdülger share a palpable chemistry that makes the characters' interaction heartfelt. However, the movie is not saved by the dragging pace in some places and the rushing in others, which really can bring down the emotional current. Meanwhile, the touching storyline often succumbs to the pitfalls of predictability and melodrama, reducing the impact of its more touching moments. Despite all these flaws, "Yarina Tek Bilet" somehow manages to give a touching portrayal of love and reconciliation, with which especially the fans of heartfelt romance stories do resonate.
