I was watching one of the episodes today and the question had to do with a roller coaster at Cedar Point and what state it is in. Ken got the answer correct, Ohio. However, he went on to say that Cedar Point was in Dayton, OH. It is actually in Sandusky, about 140 miles away from Dayton.

Yes, the show offers high-quality, not-dumbed-down trivia in three rounds. Host Brooke Burns does a good job during the timed round of spitting out the questions rapid-fire (Leah Remini from "People Puzzler" should take some lessons from her) and mostly avoids telling contestants who soil themselves what a great job they did, a common malady among GSN hosts.
The final, head-to-head round really does feel shady, though. So often, it comes down to the final question, and nearly invariably, the Master Mind gets it right and the challenger gets it wrong. Over and over and over.
Oh, and the part at the beginning when one of the Master Minds trash-talks the contestants -- lose that. It's forced and it sucks.

My husband & I love the show especially Brooke. She is a great host also on the chase. However, when the masterminds are making faces and contemplating answers like they have no clue, it's a little bit much. It seems like it's a script and the ending always seems fixed to us. No one has ever won more than twice. The masterminds always at the end get the better "script". Fixed!

I can't believe how good she is. For several reasons. She rapid fire shoots the questions. I've seen the shows that must miss her because half the time to answer was taken by the question. Brooke deserves another Emmy!

This is my favorite by far. It misses a 10 for only one reason. The Masters continuous comments. First at the start the arrogant comments. And the long explanations of the correct answer. Some are brief and enlightening. Ken does a good job at that.

Love this show! Brook Burns is a fantastic fast talking, but clear speaking host! I watch this show with my husband and sometimes on zoom calls with family and friends. We all yell out answers when we know or think we know the answers. It's a lively and completely engaging show that has brought a lot of fun times to our household.

"Master Minds," hosted by the engaging Brooke Burns, presents a unique trivia format with "celebrity" contestants. While the core concept has potential, the execution often feels clunky. The show's biggest strength lies in Burns's charismatic presence; she keeps the energy high and genuinely seems to enjoy interacting with the contestants.
However, the show falters in its presentation. The "Master Minds" themselves, while knowledgeable, often come across as stiff and scripted, particularly during the post-answer trivia tidbits. These segments feel awkward and detract from the natural flow of the game.
Ultimately, "Master Minds" provides an okay distraction for a half-hour. It's entertaining enough, but it could be so much more with a smoother presentation and a more organic feel.

It is what a game show ought to be - interesting question that move right along quickly. And, it helps having the beautiful and talented Brooke as the hostess.
Would recommend.

It's amazing that the " master minds" beat the beast only once but these contestants have to beat them 3 times to be a master mind..why???? Could they have beaten the beast 3 times before being called a master mind..it just seems very unfair and unrealistic. I saw one person win 2 games but lost the third game????

Is there something wrong with the camera or is there a red filter left accidently on the lease?
Brooke looks like she has a sun burn and Jonathan looks reddish brown. The other masterminds also have a reddish glow - as do the guests.........

The show is either fixed, or at least heavily scripted.
The little trivia bits, how would you have those ready to go if you didn't know the questions beforehand?
Also, the Master Minds never lose. It's boring.

On an episode in early 2021, one of the questions was about bridge, Brooke commented that she thought bridge was for old people. I work at Mountain View High School in Mountain View, CA and am the faculty advisor for the Bridge Group. The students play every week. A volunteer use to come to give the students lessons. We play virtually this school year. Many of the students are members of the Silicon Valley Youth Bridge. Bridge is alive and a great game for the young also.

I started watching to test my knowledge on the various subjects and did pretty good. I had to stop watching because I got tired of the arrogance of the "master minds". Also I grew tired of "master minds" need to explain almost every answer. Stop showing off.

Master Minds is the best game show on TV! FAST MOVING, never boring!! Never wasted time! We'd given up on game shows after The Beast - then discovered the revamped MM! Never miss it. Tape it to be sure! Brooke Burns is a FANTASTIC host!!! We knew her as an actress but she is the BEST host in TV! Keeps it moving - excellent on The Beast and now on Master Minds!

This fast paced trivia contest is one of the best in this genre. Hosted by the beautiful and talented Brooke Burns, the show has three contestants vie against each other while three trivia experts simultaneously compete against each other.
The two highest scoring contestants face off to determine who wins $1,000 and the chance to play against the highest scoring expert. The final competition pits the contestant against the expert for $10,000.
One thing that makes this so watchable is the way they switch up the game play each round. Also, the questions are both challenging and interesting.
The experts are unquestioningly among the best. Any contestant who wins the $10,000 has accomplished something noteworthy.

I enjoy the show and watch it everyday. I do find Corrblah, Ham, and "The Scholar", more than a little condescending with their explanations. They incorrectly assume the viewers as stupid, and should change their attitudes! It would make the show so much better if they were changed. It's too bad these three continue, because the others filling out the Master Mind panel. Ken Jennings is always the gentleman as Brooke Burns is always the courteous lady when working with the contestants. Brooke's precision when asking the speed questions in the final round. She carries a pleasant laugh when hosting the show.

Watching the show, in the final face off. The question posed to Muffy was - Since 1949 Canada has how many provinces? I noticed Muffy counting on her fingers at the point Brooke has only asked"Since 1949". How could Muffy start counting on her fingers at this point??

Two faults:
1. The show is focused too much about the "masterminds" competing with each other. Muffy talks too much, looks as if she is trying to take over, very pushy. Ken the GOAT is getting way out of hand, we get it he is smart, but he did not beat the beast as Jeopardy James did. BTW, Muffy did not beat the beast on her first round.
2. Very rarely do the contestants win, too much about the competition between the masterminds. Who wants to watch a show that "ordinary" people do not win? Almost feels as though the "masterminds" are prepped with the answers.
Brooke is great, she needs to host Jeopardy.

I'm perplexed by the ability of the Master Minds to "just happen" to have an extra trivia remark after some answers. Is it merely a coincidence that they know extra info about these particular questions and can just toss it out there? It sounds very scripted to me, which would indicate prior coaching about these answers. ??? Otherwise, I love this show!

I always thought that this show is fixed but I am now convinced, there was an episode where Johnathan got the question wrong but still came up with the explanation of the correct answer as though he got it right! Huh??? Wait What???

I think the game is ok. But it just seems funny that you can never beat the masterminds. I think it is fixed as well . I can't believe Brooke would go along with it. I hope they do get pulled off the show or change their ways and not have it scripted or fix it!! Why can't show be honest and do things the right way without "cheating"?

22 minutes of playing around, then Ken wins. Yay. Building up people's hopes for the same, easy to predict outcome every time. Only variable is which Master Mind will get cut first, but even then 90% of the time it's Jonathan.
