As Lawrence wishes, Mudde Pettu song was choreographed by the main lead actors of the movie, Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty. There aren't too many dance steps in the song, but the leading actors justify the visuals. Nagarjuna was also involved in choreography for the song "Neekai Nenu". Lawrence did the entire song of "Su Su Suriyanna".
Anushka Shetty was faced in an intimate song controversy. Anushka and Nagarjuna both shared many kisses in the song. By the time the movie was released, the video song was the buzzword in the city of Tollywood.
All know that Lawrence Master will focus more on dance in films. Actor Nagarjuna did not come to the duet song rehearsal for some reason during the Don film. Director Lawrence Master wanted to create the song as soon as possible due to the budget problem and the call sheet of other artists. So, Instead of Nagarjuna, Lawrence master did the rehearsal for the songs with Anushka Shetty, and later in the night the master went to Nagarjuna's house with his dancers and rehearsed. The Hindi dubbed version has geographical changes in the dialogues with the characters of Nagarjuna and Kelly Dorji shown to be the Dons of India and Pakistan respectively, unlike the original version where they're shown as Dons of Andhra and Mumbai respectively.
Nagarjuna and Kelly Dorji's voices are dubbed by TV actors Rishabh Shukla and Pankaj Raina respectively in the dubbed Hindi version.
