Of course I opted to watch the 2019 movie "End Survival" when I stumbled upon it here in 2025. It being a zombie movie was sufficient for me to opt to watch it. Naturally I had never heard about the movie, so I didn't know what I was getting into here.
The storyline in the movie was pretty straightforward, to the point where it bordered on being pointless actually. It felt very generic and random, as there is no particular consistency in between the jumps between scenes and from one character to another.
While I have not read the novel from writer Richard Farsi, I have to say that watching this movie hardly spurned a desire to track down the novel.
The acting performances in the movie were a mixed bag of nuts; some of the performances were fair while others were questionable and amateurish. Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list.
"End Survival" is a low budget zombie movie and one of the most forgettable zombie movies I've seen over the years.
The special effects in the movie were low budget and amateurish, almost actually non-existing.
Why did they think that filming the movie in black and white would enhance the viewing experience? Truth be told, it simply did quite the opposite.
I am sure that the movie makers ventured into this project with their hearts at the right place, but this movie just isn't worth the effort. If you enjoy zombie movies, I would not recommend you to waste 82 minutes on watching this home-made zombie project of a movie. Some of us suffered through this ordeal, so you don't have to; you're very welcome.
My rating of directors Ron T. Baker and Richard Farsi's 2019 movie "End Survival" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.

First of all, the use of black and white as a form of expression in this film is simply not true. It's merely a way of hiding how weak and poorly made the visual effects are-starting with the makeup (like the doctor's patient's infection), the unnecessary and badly matched smoke, the low-quality fire, and even the people themselves. The effects are just executed in a tragically bad way. And while using high-contrast black and white can sometimes help cover such flaws, here it simply didn't work.
The acting is so wooden that to get through it you'd need at least a chainsaw or an axe.
As for the script - one gets the feeling it didn't really exist. It seems more like they just had a few doodles in a notebook and tried to build scenes around them.
The film is, quite frankly, pathetic.
I absolutely warn you not to watch it, this is not one of those movies that arenao bad, that they become good.
