E.T.: A Holiday Reunion

Really enjoyed this. It captured the sense of wonder and nostalgia of the original E.T film, but also added in how the world has changed from the 80s and technology has connected people... This felt like something different and fresh from your traditional Christmas commercials but not pandering entirely to the original classic from Spielberg.

I liked this one a lot. It captures very well the feeling of the original movie while giving a nostalgic effect that isn't cheap or boring. It was very beautiful to see Elliott and E. T. reuniting and sharing new memories together with their families.

I never thought I'd cry to a commercial, but here we are. It's E. T., man. How can you not be emotional about the little guy reuniting with his friend Elliott?

A refreshing ad full of nostalgia, that captures the essence of the 80's film so well, that it managed to make me cry in a matter of seconds. I personally love ET, but I know that a sequel would be just silly, so the fact that these guys made one in 2 minutes, is just enough for me - I couldn't have asked for more. I gave it 10/10, not because it deserves an Oscar or anything, but as an ad, it is as good as it can get.

It is one of short films resurrecting old emotions, in the best manner. A seductive return and the memories from the first meet of the viewer with the masterpiece of Steven Spielberg. A holiday film, off course, with all you expect. But the gentle way to be, again, part of that world, the ordinary gestures, the so great moments are keys of pure joy. Moments and discoveries and so familiar scenes and Henry Thomas in a new role, with a new status. Delicate, charming, it is just a seductive delight. At the end of it, the lovely perspective about friendship and family, the fair tone are precious gift for the viewer front to a slice of his childhood or youth.
