Plot was dull, acting was tedious, and an exorcism horror film that is like the same as others.

The Seventh Day is a bad horror film. With dull acting. Boring plot which is no different than any other exorcism movie. Guy Pearce talent is wasted in this film.

They tried to make something scary AND they FAILED. Simple as that.

Not any good? The acting performances are quite good. The direction aint bad either. BUT...

The bad: the story is laughably silly at moments. I simply did not experience any real horror.

Forgettable. Better watch the one and only Excorcist CLASSIC movie from the seventies....

This movie is quite awful, I wasn't expecting much but it is very cringe.

It Took Me Seven Days to Finish This!

I agree with the other reviewers- this film had no energy, a cliche plot, and the co-lead (Father Daniel) was awful. I was looking forward to this film and it was a let down. In the over-saturated genre of exorcism movies, there is nothing to make this movie stand apart from the others.

The only slight redeeming factor in this was Guy Pierce, and even he wasn't that good.

a good angle but poorly executed.

I love possession and ghost movies, this one fails to effectively deliver the chills and "evil". The idea which emerges late into the film was a good one, and i think they could have done a lot more with it, but ultimately just fizzles out with a minor 'wtf' moment with the actual fate of one of the main characters.
