S.A.G. shut the show down due to non-payment of it's actors. Big Sky Productions was also in breach of contract with I.A.T.S.E. for non-payment as well.
4/17/2009: This was a very temporary situation and was cleared up quite some time ago. Distribution rights for the movie are being negotiated now based on a successful showing at Sundance in January 2009. Spring Break '83 did not actually screen at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, the film was shown at a venue in Park City, Utah at the same time Sundance 2009 was taking place.
