Ginny e Georgia

I'm not sure if this was the intention of the show for Ginny to come off this way but I feel half the time i love her and the other half I find her incredibly annoying. The way she treats her mom, and always sees herself as the victim in everything really bothers me. She thinks every time someone doesn't agree with her that's is either racist or they are in the wrong. She's closed minded while also being open minded and seems to have this idea that everyone else's life aside from her own is perfect. She's self centred and immature but thinks she's the opposite.

Again maybe this is the way she was to be portrayed because this is how a lot of teenagers can act, buy it often made her unlikeable and I often found myself not wanting to root for her.

Either way I think Antonia Gentry did an amazing job and her acting is incredible, and I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing her in other things in the future.

This is a show that I can definitely say it gets better which each season. The story line, the characters etc., I'm loving the overall development. It's does go from total comedy, to regular drama, to grab me my tissue throughout the seasons. I can see how some people wouldn't love that if they were hoping for something totally unserious. But overall, I think Netflix did a job well done. Casting for young Georgia and Zion- perfect. Casting for young Ginny and Austin- be serious 🙄, try again. Also, Austin, love him but if we're keeping him for season 4... him and his bully turned bestie need a time jump into 8th grade, not third 😩

This is such a good show. It's a great one for parents and teens to watch together. The Virginia character however is absolutely exhausting... I am so sick of watching her grump through every scene. I think if she rolled her eyes one more time I might have thrown the remote at my screen. It's a shame because other than that it's a really good programme.

A lot of people is complaining about Ginny (spoiled/always playing the victim etc) I don't think they get it. She IS a victim. Georgia is this charming mom, who seems good to everybody on the outside. She definitely has loving sides. But she also has the mind of a child, and she is very self sentered. She is lying, stealing, and doing all this little crimes (and bigger ones).. and along the way she is teaching her children to cover up and lie on her behalf. And they suffer because of her mistakes. To grow up with such a manipulative mom is damaging! It's mindblowing that not everyone sees this.
