Saturday the 14th h is based on a script by Latin American screenwriter Zay Rodriguez, inspired by the success of Sean S. Cunningham's "slasher movie", Friday the 13th (1980), released forty years ago.
Although not officially mentioned in the narrative of the movie, murders were taken place on that day, Saturday the 14th.
