Hit & Run

First couple of second of this movie immediately made me close the movie and open IMDb to rate it. But when others rate it not really bad (6+), i changed my mind and continued.

The editing is still a bit bad, but that's fine. But the fight were terrifying (im not action enthusiast actually). The best part is, on bloopers we can see that the fight literally real. Amazing works!

Hit & Run delivers a solid mix of action and comedy, making it an entertaining yet not overly intense film. The movie follows Tegar Saputra, a celebrity cop who is always accompanied by a camera crew for his reality show. Things take a turn when he's tasked with tracking down a notorious criminal, leading to high-energy fight scenes, car chases, and plenty of slapstick moments. What stands out most is how the film blends humor with the action, making it a fun, lighthearted watch rather than a purely serious action flick.

While the film may not reinvent the action genre, Hit & Run shines in its character dynamics and comedic timing. Joe Taslim's portrayal of Tegar, with his over-the-top bravado, pairs well with Jefri Nichol's character Lio, a streetwise con artist. Their chemistry and comedic banter carry the film through some of its slower moments. Overall, the movie offers solid entertainment with a balance of action and humor, earning it a respectable 7/10. It's a good pick for those looking for an action film that doesn't take itself too seriously.

If this film not comedy, it will be a great movie. Joe and Yayan are the master of martial art. I wonder why joe taslim want to play in this movie.
