Barbie Fairytopia: A Magia do Arco-Íris

Omg back than we buy these barbie movies in CD's its was A good time and i love this one specially cuase it was like the first movies i ever saw and it impacted my imagination it was very insprational for a boy with big hopes and dreams i love elina so much cuase she is truley amazing and went through a great character development in this film she become mature and very much strong after the 2 past movies of this triology and she truley comepleted her journy its animation is not living up to peresent time we are in but the story is sooo good its not like the mermadia that movie was better but its still a solid movie i might be biast but im sure it will live up if mattel start to give it another chance in 2023.

Elina goes to a fairy school in the Crystal Palace, where she needs to learn to use her enchanted powers to perform the Flight of Spring. Unfortunately, the evil Laverna is back and intends to freeze spring! Will Elina and her new fairy friends be able to defeat Laverna or will it be winter forever in Fairytopia? After twice saving Fairytopia, Elina has become a celebrity and feels safe with her abilities. Until Azura visits the Magical Meadow with a new challenge: go to the Crystal Palace and train to be Azura's apprentice, and learn the Flight of Spring, the annual ritual that brings life to the First Rainbow of Spring. There, Elina meets the other apprentices from different places, including the fiery-tempered Sparkling Fairy named Sunburst, and the Nymph of the Woods, Glee. Things don't go as well as Elina had hoped, when she accidentally walks into a trap while putting a spell on a seemingly innocent toad. The frog is actually Laverna, the spell frees her from her prison and transforms her back into her old form. Lavender

Watching Barbie movies, I don't love it, but I like it a lot, judge me, it takes me back to the time I worked at the day care center with my little students, I have the impression of having already watched them all at the time, at least until the 2013 productions/ 14... The graphics are not those things, but the explosion of colors, sparkles, magically enchant... Just like the enchanted Barbie world... I love...

This movie was really fun. I loved the depiction of the different personalities of the fairies at the school and their lessons were awesome. I was surprised since other than the rainbow eye it never really depicted Elina using magic in the other fairytopia movies so this was super cool to see. I also liked how the sparkle fairies have sparkles that they can trail from their hands like a magic wand.

The plot seemed a little weak esp since the undoing spell didn't turn Elina back into a mermaid, but I loved the Flight of Spring.

Bibble and Dizzle were hilarious in the goodnight scene. I would almost watch it again just for that.

Oh and I do think her new outfit is a bit of a downgrade.

Overall I recommend if you like any of the other Barbie movies. Not sure if it is better or just as good as Fairytopia Mermaidia. I can't decide!

My daughter got this movie as a birthday gift. I was initially concerned, as I always am, about how the "evil" character is depicted, both in his actions and visually, as I have 3 small girls...all under 6. I still went ahead and allowed them to see it. All three love it...they watch it at least twice a week. I should say that the youngest was initially a little afraid of the ugly fairy and the toad, as was my initial concern, but she clearly overcame it and loves it...! My second daughter is obsessed, she comes home from school and the first thing she does is put on her fairy costume... They also got away with making me redo the theme in their room...and yes...the new theme is rainbows. It is not the greatest kid movie ever but I find it appropriate and my girls love the beautiful fantasy world in it.....It is not however, by any means, a movie for adults, so I do not recommend any adult go out and rent it for their own viewing pleasure.

This movie has a great storyline. Also, the plot twists help build up the excitement. Although I really loved Mermaidia, this film was a great third installment on the trilogy!
