[raises chair to Triton's level]

Marina Del Ray: [claps hands over mouth] There! Wasn't that easy?

Marina Del Ray: [about Sebastian being the king's advisor] Oohhh that Sebastian! I despise him! I LOATHE him!

Marina Del Ray: Can you feel it, Benjamin? The sweet taste of power! Filling, yet oddly minty!

[to Alana, who's putting on a face mask]

Alana: It's plankton extract and sea salt.
Andrina: [sarcastically] Pretty.
Alana: It rejuvenates the skin AND it won't clog your pores.
Andrina: [plugs her nose, disgusted] Ugh, whatever!
Alana: It's your face...
Arista: [floating into bed with a sleep mask on] Excuse me.
[sighs]
Aquata: [noticing Arista wearing her sleep mask] Uh, is that my mask?
Arista: [has the mask on] Nope.
[Aquata yanks it off her]
Aquata: It's got my initial on it!
Arista: It does?
Attina: [rolls her eyes] All of our names start with "A", Aquata.
[Adella, Alana, and Andrina each hold up an item with an "A" written on it to prove her point]
Aquata: [sees Arista stealing her brush] Oh! My brush?
Arista: I was gonna talk to you about that...
Aquata: [sees her blue shell top] My lucky seashells?
Arista: They're not very lucky.
Aquata: [gasps and sees her favourite soft toy under her bed] Mr. Fuzzyfinkle!
Arista: He's so cute! Look at that, he likes me!
Aquata: [sees her pillow] AND my pillow?
Arista: Yeah, that's for Mr. Fuzzyfinkle.
Aquata: [snatches it off Arista] Nice try!
Arista: [tugging it from Aquata] Give it back!
Aquata: [tugging on the pillow] Arista, you always do this! It's my stuff!
Andrina: [watching the girls argue] Finally, some entertainment!

Marina Del Ray: [finishing the end of her song] After that, who knows? Sebastian's bound to make a mistake right?
Benjamin: Not likely.
Marina Del Ray: Dream killer!
[she dips her nails into the bowl angrily]

King Triton: You are all confined to the palace.
Attina: Yes, Father.
Ariel: [angrily] Why don't you just lock us in jail?
King Triton: Ariel, you are confined to the palace until you understand what you've done.
Ariel: What did we do? Tell me, Daddy.
Attina: Ariel, leave it alone.
Ariel: No!
[swims up to Triton so she can try to reason with him]
Ariel: We haven't done anything wrong. All we did was listen to music.
King Triton: Which you know is forbidden!
Ariel: But why? Why can't we have music?
King Triton: This discussion is over.
Ariel: Just tell me.
King Triton: I do not have to explain myself to you.
Ariel: I don't understand. We love music.
King Triton: [shouts] I will not have music in my kingdom!
[pause]
Ariel: I may not remember much about my mother. But I know she wouldn't have wanted this.
[sadly swims away]

King Triton: [sternly] A princess does not tickle another princess with seaweed.
Ariel: You saw that?
[beat]
Ariel: I was just trying to have some fun.
King Triton: You disrupted your sisters.
Ariel: Well, they laughed.
King Triton: Well, I didn't.
Ariel: But, Daddy, why can't we...?
King Triton: [interrupts] Is it too much to ask that you simply walk with your family?
Ariel: [frustrated] That's all we EVER do.
King Triton: [threateningly] Ariel.
Ariel: Can't we do something different?
King Triton: Enough! You have to learn to respect the way I run this kingdom.
[holds out a seashell-shaped tool]
King Triton: Barnacles.
Ariel: [shocked] What? That'll take all day.
King Triton: [hands her the tool] Well, then, you'd better get started, young lady.
Ariel: [under her breath as she swims away] I hate this place.
