Playboy: Girls of Playboy TV

'Girls of Playboy TV' has a title that leaves no ambiguity about it's contents. Too bad the format made of BTS, short clips via their PPV channel or a pictorial shoot with a ton of talking is far from hot stuff. You get big names in recently deceased pornstar Jesse Jane and once popular model Jelena Jensen amongst others, but is this truly a spicy video where the focus is on pretty women getting naked? Not a chance.

After your standard title card, intro (1 min) we jump to "Jesse Jane". As the former hardcore performer turned one time 'Night Calls' co-host talks to the camera, clips are shown and gets her pictorial shot (6 mins). It's a format that quickly grows old and which every other lady follows. "Anika Knudsen" shows a small snippet from a girl/girl in a pool, but mostly her posing for pics (4.5 mins). "Ann Marie" cuts between an interview, clips from PB TV shows she's appeared on and then the photoshoot (4.5 mins).

Rest follow the same pattern more or less. "Sativa Rose" (4 mins), "Andrea Lowell" (4.5 mins), "Nautica Thorn" (4.5 mins), "Charmane Star" (4.5 mins), "Jelena Jensen" (5 mins), "Kristen Price" (4.5 mins), "Mary Carey" (4.5 mins) and "Ashley Blue" (5 mins). Lastly ladies (Sunny Lane, Nadia Styles, Brittany Skye, Charlie Laine) cuts between interviews and their group photoshoot at a pool (8 mins).

I've often lamented how Playboy reused footage over multiple titles, compilations. However those videos at least give viewers sights of women getting naked a 'plenty in real scenes. Something that can't be said for 'Girls of Playboy TV'. Handful of nice shots, funny or down to earth quips from these ladies keep it from being worthless, but it's still weak sauce.
