Please, watch something else. I stumbled upon this novela and was drawn into it purely because every actor is fairly good-looking/self-righteous/evil/humble, characters had ridiculously clichéd roles, and the plot was not far from predictable! As a Mexican, I must urge you to avoid watching Televisa altogether and instead watch things that will not drop your cultural points.
Watch good things from anywhere, any country, but not this. This novela was made to sell, and nothing more. Such ordeal to watch it will leave your intelligence perplexed, I kid you not. If you totally need to, watch "in" for great performances by a handful of actors; watch only because you know what's gonna happen, but you just HAVE to see how she or he predictably responds; watch it for a laugh!

I love love love this soap! The scenes between Cristobal and Regina and Paulina were so emotional and real, I couldn't believe I was watching Television. I've never seen American soap operas that produced that kind of emotion. This soap is fascinating and I don't want it to end. Such beautiful, talented actors and actresses.
I only read and understand a little Spanish, but it doesn't matter because the acting is so eloquent, it speaks for itself. Regina's love for Cristobal, and his for her, and their emotive conversations were some of the best acting I've ever seen anywhere. I also love the story lines of the kitchen help, the doctor and his family, and Dolores and her son. Bravo to the whole show!
