Many users of IMDb were looking for Battlefield 2 and found the Battlefield 2 Modern Combat which is not the PC version, it is the console version.
The PC version of Battlefield 2 is a lot better than the console, it allows you to play with up to 64 players in huge maps with 2 jets per team, tanks, helicopters, and of course 7 different infantry kits.
1. Sniper who has a sniper rifle and claymore mine. 2. Special Forces with C4 explosives and Carbine. 3. Assault who has armor, grenade launcher and smoke grenade. 4. Support with armor, light machine gun, and resupply packs. 5. Medic with assault rifle, shock paddles and first aid. 6. Anti Tank with armor, Anti Tank rockets and Submachine gun. 7. Engineer, with shotgun, mines and repair wrench.
In this game you will use modern weapons and vehicles Jets like the F-15, F-18, F-35, Su-30, Su-34, Mig-29 and the J-10.
Rifles such as AK-101, AK-47, M16A2, M4, G36 series, L96A2, M95 , M24, SVD, L85A1, PKM, FN2000, P90 and more
You will play as either USMC (United States Marine Corps), MEC (Middle Eastern Coalition) or the Chinese PLA (People's Liberation Army)
All these options combined in one game which is balanced is true work of art, the graphics are amazing, everything looks almost unreal, the game-play is awesome.
Playing in ranked servers allow you to keep record of your stats from every round, getting enough points will earn you a new rank and a new weapon unlock such as the G3 and FN2000 for Assault.
Excellent game, a lot of fun.

Excellent game, a lot of fun.
I decided to play "Battlefield 2" just to get a feel for the series - twenty years after the game originally came out. I only played with bots, so all my impressions are based on the single-player experience, which is, of course, a couple of decades old by now.
Everything here is solid and clearly a step up from the earlier games - as expected. There's no real story (well, maybe something vague, like the U. S. and China - judging by the flags - deciding to find out who's boss on the planet), but it's not really necessary. What you do get is classic Battlefield: gunfights, vehicles, teamwork, and the overall vibe of chaotic military action.
The graphics are nice. You can tell the developers really put in the work. Compared to previous entries, it's a night-and-day difference. Everything looks sharper, more realistic, and just more pleasant to the eye. Especially when a tank is tearing enemy vehicles to pieces and you're watching it all from cover, admiring the destruction - or, you know, when you get accidentally blown up yourself. It happens...
You can choose sides - play as the U. S. and run around with high-tech weapons, or pick China and roll out some heavy-duty gear. To keep things interesting, there are around a dozen maps to choose from. Urban firefights, open fields, industrial zones - each one feels like a mini-war on its own.
The class system is a real highlight. You get to decide your role: want to be a sniper? Find a good bush and pick off enemies one by one. Prefer direct action? Go assault and charge into the fray. There's also the medic who heroically saves teammates, the engineer who repairs vehicles, and the support class handing out ammo - which sometimes feels as welcome as a bag of candy at a party.
Of course, "Battlefield 2" was clearly designed for multiplayer. From what I've heard from veteran players, online matches were a wild ride - adrenaline and chaos all the way. But even offline, it holds up well enough. Playing against bots is a decent way to practice or just enjoy the atmosphere without any pressure. Good enough to get a taste of what the game is about.
All in all, a decent entry in the series. Everything people love about "Battlefield" is here - the scale, the teamwork, the variety, and the good old-fashioned battlefield chaos. For me, it was a nice way to remember what mid-2000s shooters looked like - and why people still feel the urge to revisit them.

Battlefield 2 is a pure adrenaline rush and joy ride for hardcore to beginning gamers alike. It combines intense action with witty strategy as you fight your way to victory. Battlefield 2 has a satisfactory single player which can be used to pass some time. But if you want to experience the true Battlefield 2 action and strategy, you better have a high speed internet connection. Online play is where Battlefield 2 really shines, in memorable battles of 10 to 64 people online joining in the exiting killing frenzy. Even though you need a good graphics card, a lot of memory, and some pretty quick reflexes, this game is worth every penny and second you put into it. Join in on ranked servers where you can level up your character and unlock weapons for the 7 different classes of soldiers. You can snipe your way into Battlefield 2 history or blow your enemy to hell with a rocket launcher as they fly up like rag dolls. This game has all you need to take your breath away and give you one of the most memorable experiences you will ever have on a computer game.
