A lighthearted caper for our Angels, here tripping up a veteran thief and compulsive gambler who managed to steal $40,000 from a securities company and slip passed jail after a police chief loses his cool and roughs him up (not too badly, though, especially compared to today's viral videos). Bosley gets a plum assignment as a bookie who hangs out at a cocktail lounge; he and Sabrina swindle the thief for $20K with a horse-betting scheme. Later, Jill poses as a bored gambler with burglary on her mind, setting the crook up for a casino heist that goes sour once Kelly 'accidentally' crashes into his car. Everyone gets a nice slice of the pie here, particularly Farrah Fawcett-Majors (sporting the fluffiest head of hair of the decade), very funny while impersonating a Texas horse-lover--with Bosley as her sugar daddy! Wonderful supporting performances from Richard Romanus, Bert Remsen and Tony Giorgio make this episode of the ABC detective series one of the best of its sterling first season.
A real sleeper episode from the first season. The Angels using brains rather than beauty to catch the crook. (They're still very beautiful and they can't help that).
Actually I'd love to have seen more episodes similar to this that break the mould a little bit. (Rosemary For Remembrance comes to mind).
A real good episode with an excellent script that was well executed by all!

In as little words as possible, this is a lovely episode and a perfect set up. Charlie's con women....

- CuriosidadesJaclyn Smith's King Poodle Albert makes an appearance in the bar scene.
- Erros de gravaçãoAs Sabrina is backing up to leave The Paddock, her orange Pinto has no headrest and no rear-view mirror. It was standard procedure during filming that various parts of a vehicle be removed in order not to obstruct the actors.
