Deal or No Deal

Perguntas frequentes

Before the game, a third party randomly places different amounts of money in twenty-six cases so that anyone associated with the show will not know what amount is in what case. The host, Howie Mandel, either stands in the middle of the stage or in a vault containing the twenty-six cases. If the host stands in the vault, he explains to the camera the rules of the game and then walks out to the center of the stage. If the host stands in the center of the stage, he explains to the camera the rules of the game. One time he went to a contestant's home and played the first round in her front yard of her house. The host, then introduces the twenty-six ladies wearing the exact same clothing, carring twenty-six cases with amounts ranging from US $0.01 to US $1,000,000. The amount in the cases are as follows: $0.01, $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $200, $300, $400, $500, $750, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $75,000, $100,000, $200,000, $300,000, $400,000, $500,000, $750,000, and $1,000,000. On some episodes, the amounts in the cases were doubled and some episodes, only the top seven amounts in the cases were changed higher. The US $1,000,000 case has been as high as US $3,000,000 in one episode. The host then introduces the contestant and he/she comes out of the audience to the stage area. One contestant came repaling on a roap from the celing. After the contestant is called to the stage and talks a little about himself/herself, the host then askes the contestant to pick a case, numbers one to twenty-six. The case that the contestant picks at random becoms their case and can be sold or kept which is explained later as the host, Howie Mandel says on the show. Ususlly the contestants pick a case which that number has some significants to him/her in their life like a wedding anniversary excet one time, a guy picked a case number because it ment absoutely nothing to him. After the contestant picks their case that he/she wants to keep, the host then asks the contestant to pick six cases. After the contestant picks six cases and the amounts are revealed (hoping that the lower amounts are revealed and not the high amounts) a phone rings and the host pick up the phone and says, "Hello?" The banker, on the other end, tells the host what dollar amount to tell the contestant and then hangs up with the host. The host then tells the contestant how much the host is willing to sell the case for. Some offers are prizes such as a car, a tractor, root beer, etc. and some offers are money and prizes. The host then asks the contestant the qustion, "Deal or No Deal?" at which the contestant has the choice to sell the case for the amount that the banker is willing to sell the case at at which point the contestant will hit the button and walk away with that amount of money or will either say "No deal" and shut the lid to the button, say "No deal" and the host shuts the lid, or will just shut the lid. If the contestant says, "No deal," then the second round starts and the host asks the contestant to pick five cases, hoping to keep the high amounts on the board and eliminating the low amounts. The same thing with the banker hapens in round two as what happened in round one except this time if a high amount is revealed, the next offer is lower than the previous offer and if no high amont is revealed, the next offer is higher than the previous, usually. Sometimes a prize or a prize with a dollar amount is shown as the offer. Round three is played the same if the contestant doesn't sell their case in round two, but only four cases are revealed. Round four is played the same if the contestant doesn't sell their cases in round three, but only this time three cases are revealed. Round five is played the same if the contestant doesn't sell their case in round four, but only this time two cases are revealed. Round six is played the same way as round five except that only one case is revealed provided that the contestant doesn't sell their case in round five. Round six, is played the exact same way as round five provided that the contestant doesn't sell their case in round five. Round seven, is played the exact same way as round six privided that the contestant doesn't sell their case in round six. Round eight is played exactly as round seven provided that the contestant doesn't sell their case in round seven. Round eight is played exactly as round seven provided that the contestant doesn't sell their case in round seven. If the contestant manages to make it to round seven and doesn't sell their case, the contestant then has a choice to keep their case and see what is inside and whatever is inside, the contestant gets to keep or switch with the last remaining case and whatever is inside, the contestant gets to keep (which hasen't happened as of Tuesday, June 5, 2007). If the contestant sells the case and not keep what is in his/her case, the host then asks the contestant what case would he/she had picked for all the remain rounds to see what the contestant would have won. Then the contestant leaves and a new contestant comes up to the stage and the game starts all over again.
