Walker, Texas Ranger ran for 203 episodes, from 1993 until 2001. Revolving around a tough Texas Ranger (Norris) who fights tireless to uphold the law and maintain the moral balance.
Chuck Norris is his usual bad ass self. He isn't as ruthless as usual, mostly because of his Captain job and his family life with Alex (they're married and have a daughter, Angela, played by Danilee Kelly Norris), but he's still Chuck Norris and he can still kick ass. Sheree J. Wilson isn't in the movie as much as you'd expect her to be. She has an easy back and forth with Norris and it's obvious that they're comfortable with one another.
Clarence Gilyard, who played Walker's partner James Trivette during the show's entire run, appears for a cameo only.I believe Gilyard's cameo is just a cameo because he had other commitments he couldn't get out of when the movie was made.
I'll skip everything else, you'll just have to watch it. Now, the ending. I don't want to give away any major spoilers here, but the movie ends on a major cliffhanger that, at least at the moment, has no chance of ever being resolved. It was probably thrilling when the movie originally aired, but after all these years it's just annoying. Why the hell didn't CBS do a sequel? Why leave the show's fans in limbo over what happened? Wouldn't a sequel pay for itself after rerun airings and DVD sales? I'm pretty sure Chuck Norris and Walker, Texas Ranger fans would want a sequel.
I have some issues with this, but Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire is a pretty good decent TV movie. Chuck Norris kicks ass in it, and it's just generally entertaining. It's just too bad that it didn't get a sequel and we still don't know what happened at the end. We need resolution, man. Maybe CBS will come to its senses, and give the world a real ending to the Walker, Texas Ranger story.
Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire watch it as soon as you can. Rating: 8.0/10.0

My whole family loves to watch Walker Texas Ranger. We were very sad when they stop filming it. Our youngest son loved watching Walker. He was very sick for three years before he passed away. The time he spent watching Walker helped him though some very hard times. We have always hoped Chuck would come back as Walker. We think he is a very good role model for young people. And in the world we live in they need all the good role models they can get. We were very excited when we heard about this new movie. We hope this is a sign that we will be able to watch Walker every week again. We really enjoyed "Trial by Fire". Can't wait to see the next one. Hope that will be very soon! Misty
The beginning was slow and boring but the end scenes were great. I really loved the ending. It was sad not to see Jimmy stay in the entire show. The movie had lots of action. The person who was the fight choreographer did an excellent job. I liked the fight scenes much, much better than all of the other shows because this time they finally got their asses whipped and good. Usually Walker and his team usually fight their way out without the use of weapons. But this time, they all had to rely on bullets to put their opponents down for good. The ending left an opening for the series to come back. It would be okay for the series to come, taking into consideration everyone's age. Start the series again, I'm getting tired of all these reality shows.

What a show! I was disappointed that Trivette was not in it more, but I understand that production was delayed and he already had a previous and unbreakable commitment when filming actually began. I cannot believe the ending. I wonder how long we have to wait. there has to be a sequel. Chuck (at 65) looks great! Hope I am still active and energetic when I am 65. I do want to know why Sydney was not in it? Does anyone know? Also, does anyone know when this will be aired again? I really liked the way that they modernized it, yet kept it the same - it was comforting that Walker still had a silver truck. I have loved this show from day 1, and was so excited that it was back. I really hope that a sequel to this cliff hanger arrives soon.
I enjoyed the Walker series the entire time it ran. I liked the movie as well, except the for the ending. Has anyone heard if there will be another movie? I hope so and I hope this time Clarence Gilyard doesn't have any conflicts so "Jimmy" can have a larger part.
I agree that it would be great to see Nia Peeples back to see what has developed between her character and Judson Mills' character.
My thought is that Alex doesn't survive this time and Walker becomes a single parent. Maybe this is how they bring closure to the series. Not a great way to end things, but all good things do have to end some time.
I was wondering if "The President's Man" movie was the pilot for another series and just didn't fly with execs; does anyone have an answer to this. If so, I'd appreciate knowing.
Bring us more Walker!

- CuriosidadesThis movie spinoff features 3 of Chuck Norris' family members.
- Erros de gravaçãoThe admiral that picked up the Mark 5 computer hardware was out of uniform in several aspects. The long sleeve khaki shirt is a working uniform item and not authorized for wear in public. His garrison cap was worn incorrectly. Lastly and most importantly, he would not have had the full beard the actor had. Beards have not been authorized (without a medical doctor's authorization) for decades in the Navy. Even if he had such permission the grooming of that beard would not come close to the standards set for those with permission. As a side note, Navy admirals are expected to maintain standards above and beyond the average sailor. No admiral would wear a beard period, even if authorized.
