Riya Sen was signed for the film but later was replaced by Tanushree Dutta.
Esha Deol was approached for the film but declined it as she did not have any dates. Isha Sharvani was signed instead.
Ashish Chowdhry was signed for the film but later replaced by Emraan Hashmi.
The director Ashiwini Chaudhary stated this "I didn't even complete the film. I walked out after completing 60 per cent of it. Directors who turn producers shouldn't interfere too much. It's like you appoint a driver but reprimand him every five minutes for the way he drives. Aren't you simply asking for an accident then?".
Emraan Hashmi hated the wig he had to wear in the film.
