Ten-minute featurette interviews Rick Baker and discusses his work on the John Landis classic, which ended up earning him his first Academy Award. Baker talks about how he and Landis had planned this film years earlier after their first movie together but it ended up taking a lot more time to get it made and Baker used this time to perfect his ideas. He talks about the major werewolf transformation and how he wanted to do it all in one take. He also mentions that he would have preferred for it to be a "walking" werewolf like in films such as THE WOLF MAN. It's certainly interesting hearing Baker talk about the effects as we see them in clips but also fascinating is seeing the unused footage that shows up. There are about three different scenes that we get to see and fans of the movie will certainly love these. Baker is always a fun person to listen to and you can tell that he really loved doing the work on this now classic.
