Oh, boy, Mick is gonna get it now! The Wolf Creek series is coming to Pop TV, Daily Deaders, and we have a clip from the first episode. Also: Trash Fire's at Screamfest 2016, the DVD release autograph signing for Clowntown, and Destination America's October programming.

Wolf Creek Series Clip: "About Wolf Creek: Pop’s limited series event--inspired by one of the "25 best horror movies since 2000" (Av Squad), one of the "100 Best Horror films" (Time Out) and one of the "25 Best Horror Movies Since The Shining" (Vulture)--is an intense psychological thriller premiering Friday, October 14, at 10/9c. It stars John Jarratt as killer Mick Taylor, wreaking havoc in the Australian Outback except, this time, things are different. The series turns an entire genre on its head when a 19-year-old American college student, played by rising star Lucy Fry, survives Taylor’s massacre of her family and sets out for revenge.

Destination America is becoming a network that seems heavily focused on paranormal programming. In February, the network debuted the new series True Supernatural, Ghosts in My House and Ghostly Encounters, and the channel has a backlog of other monster- and ghost-related programs in its library. One of those series that has been a hit — and, in fact, is Destination America’s No. 1 series, according to the network — has been Mountain Monsters, and Mountain Monsters Season 3 begins on March 7. The ‘Ravenswood’ winter premiere offered up answers about the mysterious curse — and, of course, a million more questions.

Following his three-day stint in Rosewood, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) returned “home” on the Jan. 7 winter premiere of Ravenswood, only to discover that life in the titular town is even more twisted than when he left.

‘Ravenswood’: Luke Arrested On Winter Premiere

In this first-look photo, obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com, Luke (Brett Dier) is being hauled off in a Ravenswood police car — and something tells me they’re not taking him downtown just to give him a medal. What kind of trouble could Luke be getting himself into?

Perhaps the episode’s official log line can offer a clue:

‘Home is Where the Heart Is (Seriously – Check the Floorboards)’ – The Ravenswood police make a surprising discovery at the Matheson home, and Olivia and Luke are unnerved by Collins’ connection to their mother.

Plus, Caleb and Miranda’s romantic history is revealed — and it’s full of giant hats!

There’s a fine line between heaven and hell — and apparently, that line is called Ravenswood. The midseason finale of ABC Family’s pretty little ghost story found Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and the rest of his makeshift Scooby gang trying to save Miranda (Nicole Anderson) from a new enemy, unaware they were going up against someone they already know!

It turns out Olivia’s (Merritt Patterson) boyfriend Dillon (Luke Benward) isn’t the nice guy everyone thinks he is. In fact, he’s in cahoots with a creepy little girl who tried to trap “The Five” in a twisted, hellish dream world this week. They barely escaped alive — excluding Caleb, who did literally die for a brief period of time — and are more terrified than ever.

Memorial Day 2011 is here and while we should all take time to thank a veteran and active servicemen and women, it also means for us TVphiles - lots of good programming. So either settle in with some popcorn or make sure your DVR is ready to go.

There are movie marathons. Syfy is busting out its greatest hits in the giant monster oeuvre on Friday, followed by "Star Trek" movies all weekend. TCM and AMC are showing nothing but military movies, including classics like "All Quiet on the Western Front," "From Here to Eternity" and "Patton."

If marathons are your thing, you've got everything from "Firefly" and "Doctor Who" to "House Hunters" and "How It's Made." And if you're a sports fan, while the NBA playoffs are on hiatus, you can still watch a ton of baseball, the 2011 French Open or the annual Memorial Day race the Indianapolis 500.

The notion of a film using a vérité style and false claims of “it really happened” is nothing new to the horror genre. In 1974, Tobe Hooper’s masterpiece The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, made use of a now famous John Larroquette narration, a group of amateur actors and a gritty shooting style to make mid-70s drive-in movie-goers question the reality of what they had just seen. 1980 brought horror fans the still controversial Cannibal Holocaust, a film that not only invented the now popular “found footage” horror film, but still even today manages to make some of its viewers question if what they are watching is in actuality, “snuff”.

The trend continued into the 1990s with films like the morbidly comical Man Bites Dog (1992), the widely overlooked and heavily flawed The Last Broadcast (1998) and of course the hugely profitable and arguably overrated The Blair Witch Project (1999); a film whose success, though...
