I saw it with same fascination of the first discover of story of Esther in childhood. I admired the acting of Otillie Krueger , not impressive but correct, the beautiful frame of her courage ( the grandfather telling to family the significance of purim ) and the sepia , reminding older films.

A beautiful work, scene by scene.

No doubts, not impressive but using the classic recipe of religious films with some more than decent result and some drops of seduction. And, in essence, this is the real matters thing .

A sketch ? Off course but well crafted one , for a precise target , with some beautiful details.

I suppose, correct represents the fair term to define this religious film who reminds the significance of Purim holiday.

The familiar story of Mordechai, Esther and Haman, the fair atmosphere and not the worse acting, nice costumes, fair frame for story and the pleasant end.

In fact, it has all the virtues and sins of religious films, from the very precise target to the nuances of acting. It reflects , in same measure, the experience of director.

In short, a return to the root of one of significant feast day of Jews , the sepia image reminding tender life of cinematographz beginnings. And this is real a good point.
