Not your average Burning Man movie.

Having been involved with the Burning Man event for many years I have seen several movies about it. Not to take anything away from those other works but all of the ones I've seen show the event from the perspective of the participant and often over-dramatize the party or rave aspects of it.

Working For The Man is a documentary that shows what goes on behind the scene to build and remove Black Rock City. It's done from the perspective of the Department of Public Works crew who spend anywhere from 1 to 3 months in the desert building then cleaning-up after Burning Man. You will see the vast expanse of the desert undisturbed and then watch Black Rock City take shape on it. The movie gives one a look at how different the Burning Man experience is for those who are 'Working For the Man' from the experience had by the people who go only to the event.

Includes interviews with event Founder Larry Harvey and staff working in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada.
