Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath

The episode of the widow of Zarephath meeting with Saint Elijah is one of the most precious from Holy Bible for me. For its profound human significations, for delicate reflection of the sufferance of a mother and the gesture of a prophet, for hungry image and for the image of resurrection. This film is a decent adaptation and it is unfair to critic it to hard. Sure, it is a sketch but a beautiful one. No doubts, it could be better; it deserves be better but Carrie Morgan and Bob Nelson are makers of good roles and the atmosphere of Zarephath is just credible. Alisa Anglesey did a good job, to, and if you do not ignore than this short film is only a school project, the things are real clear. Short, I am happy to discover it. And, in strange way, I am satisfied to see only from the familiar story. Nice crafted, good adaptation.
