I found this to be a great first film for the director. It was a dark drama with many shady characters. The dialog between characters seemed to flow naturally.
Even though it was a drama, I found the subtle humor added to the depth of the characters. In this 30 minute short, the director/writer Mark Nistico managed to present a story that entices you to see what the fate is for the
main character Slate. Having worked with Mark before, I
know that Milking the Chicken is a real teaser for even
better films to come.

I just wanted to take a moment and say congrats to Mark and his cast and crew who pulled off a great film. I had the opportunity to view this film at its original screening and it was an impressive film. Kudos to Kevin Interdonato for another outstanding performance. The lighting was a bit dark at times, and the sound had its issues, but the acting, overall, was great and the storyline was very intriguing. I can't wait for the feature to come out! Congratulations to you all for coming together to pull off another outstanding project. I wish you all the best and can't wait to see what other projects come out of the interesting mind of this director!
