According to the digital clock in the SUV, it takes Elvis and David 21 minutes to change radio stations twice.

On his first day as a delivery driver Elvis is shown by his manager the proper way to cut a pizza and put it in the bag. After the manager shows him how to do this he tells him to go deliver the pizza. Elvis walks out the door with just the pizza box. The bag has disappeared.

When Twla Sandow gets up to leave during David's sermon on Paul, she is carrying her purse in her left hand. When she exits the auditorium she is not carrying a purse at all, but whenever she leaves the building and walks into traffic she is carrying the purse again.

Elvis claims his newly purchased automobile is a "1969 Cougar XR-7". It is not, it is a 1968 Cougar standard model (NOT an XR-7).

The movie takes place in Corpus Christi, Texas, but the pool that Elvis and Malerie visit is Barton Springs Pool, located in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.

The boom mic is visible When Paul confronts Elvis at Elvis' residence. The boom mic drops into frame for a moment whilst the camera is on Paul.

In the scene where David takes Elvis to the shooting range, he tells Elvis to extend his left arm. But in the next shot he's holding up his right.
