It took the makers of this film seven years to complete the project, during which time over a dozen scripts (including chronological) were used.

Director Andrés Waissbluth is himself a drummer who plays in one of the bands listed in the soundtrack.

In this film there is a scene in which Anita Alvarado performs a brief unsimulated fellatio on Juan Pablo Miranda. "She is not the protagonist, but she is important in the film in which there is indeed real sex, although it is not pornographic. You see it, you see it, it's brief, it's brief, but it's real, it's real," director Andrés Waissbluth said.

Antonella Ríos's debut. She has several nude scenes, including one in which she performs a sexy dance in a bikini made of shaving foam. "I remember that the cream was something very unfriendly, because it fell off and stained, but you still had to look sensual with it. It was very difficult," Rios says.

Antonella Ríos said the most complicated scene for her was the one where her character is beaten by Alejandro Trejo's character. "I was freaked out by that scene, it really made me feel overwhelmed. Alejandro is a very intense actor and I had no experience," she recalls. Treyo admitted that in search for authenticity, he got carried away and in a scene in which his character insults and beats Rios' one for having been unfaithful, he let himself be carried away by violence: "The idea was to give himself a little to improvisation. And I overdid it... You had to forget what the author writes and act according to that situation, which required a certain energy more organic than head. And that's why it was hard to insult her. Sometimes it's complicated, because of the level of realism that cinema gives. It was emotionally strong, but it had to be that way, it could not be otherwise. At that point in the script it was essential to have that tenor". When the director ordered the cut, Ríos burst into tears.
