I watched this film as a child in the early 80s when it released. Years later; the social message and the heart wrenching dialogues said by the late but great Kader Khan Ji still ring true.

The film might be old but the message and dialogues are still relevant today.

Honour your parents and love them. Do unto others as you want done to yourself.

You will sow what you reap.

Brilliant film. Watching this again in tears. They don't make them like this today.

I was born in 1991 year. And i watched that movie when i was only 4-5 years old. That time i watching this movie my eyes was full of tears..... Same position still today. Kadar khan is the Legend ......

I got this movie because I have become quite a Govinda fan. I almost didn't as it had no reviews and only a few votes. Did only relatives vote? But Govinda and his dancing and his smile won out and it was worth the view. A little heavy handed in the message, but Bollywood does that.

We have a son who's greed for money has him rejecting his honest father and his views of life. The son marries the daughter of the honest father's worst enemy. They become estranged. Then the son has his own son. The grandparents become close to the grandson The grandson comes to prefer his grandparents over his parents and so are thrown out into the cold cruel world to fend for themselves and the child is told his grandparents are dead.

20 years later the child is all grown up and finds out his grandparents are still alive and decides to teach his parents a lesson.

Nice movie. Perfect diloges and acting done by Kader Khan, Govinda & team.

It was a perfect combination of Govinda and Kader Khan. This movie gives a social message for all human being.
