Great Action game and great close to the trilogy

Onimusha 3 is the third game of the Onimusha series by Capcom. It ends the original trilogy involving the story arc of Nobunaga Oda. In this game. A Japanese warrior from 1582 named Samanoske, and a french police officer named Jacques from the year 2004 fight against demons called genma, led by the Demon Lord Nobunaga Oda.

This game is an action game with an interesting story and one that has a few loopholes, but keeps you interested overall. The game has a well made combat system that controls smoothly. While there are games that have now surpassed it (like God of War and Devil May Cry 3) it is still one of the best action games for the ps2, and a great game for anyone's collection.

Challenging and have a good storyline

First of all, Onimusha 3 was a great title. The introduction scene is authentic. Samanosuke Akechi from Onimusha Warlords is back to defeat Nobunaga once and for all.Second, the story(walkthrough) is very good.It begins, in 1580 A.D. Japan, at this time Samanosuke together with his Uncle, Mitsuhide Akechi battled Nobunaga and his genma minnions at Honnoji temple. But,Samanosuke got accidentally warped to an unknown pathway to the future. Next, surprisingly he ended up in year 2004 in France. Third,he discovered that Nobunaga wrath spread here too. Fourth, luckily he met new characters including Jacques, Michelle and Ako as he find ways to stop the genma from succeeding their plans of using timetraveling to hurt or kill innocent people.

Plus, I learned that Onimusha 3 is the first in the Onimusha trilogy to feature two characters that have Onimusha mode. Also, the first time to connect the past and the future. And countries around the world.Third, players have a choice to decide when to use the Onimusha mode when they absorbed five special orbs. Also, players for the first time have the ability to use Samanosuke's new weapons together with his 3 elemental swords from Onimusha 1. And Jacques have new weapons and can be useful on bosses or in trouble.

Finally, the mini-games are challenging, especially the Oni training and the Dark Realm. Also, it featured new ways to master a game.

I gave this game 10/10 for the memory of the Onimusha trilogy.Plus, simplicity and fighting for good.

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, the beginning and the end.

It has been 9 years since Jubei Yagyu defeated the evil Nobunaga Oda, peace has been restored to Japan...or has it? Nobunaga managed to come back from the grave and plan his final assault on Japan, Starting with Honnoji Temple. Samanosuke returns from his absence to fight Nobunaga in the final battle which will decide the fate of Humanity.

This is actually the best of the Onimusha games so far, Unfortunately its the final part of the Nobunaga trilogy. But don't worry, this is not the last game in the series ^_~ The battle system is pretty decent, you can either use the D-pad or the Analog sticks to play this game. I suggest you use the Analog sticks, there better and easy to use.

It's also great to see Takeshi Kaneshiro return as Samanosuke again, but he's not alone. International film star Jean Reno (Flushed Away, Leon, Godzilla, Just Visiting) plays as the character Jacques Blanc so you can flip time lines from 1582 to 2004. So that really makes the game more interesting.

Oh...lol, Bringing up VA...I am glad that the voice director managed to find someone who can do a good Samanouske, because I personally think Tig Fong's version is abit too dry. Robin Atkin Downes plays a good Samanosuke. The other va are just spectacular and the script is well written and the VA gave great performances for such a great game ^_^ Final thoughts...

Great closing to the Nobunaga trilogy, great to see Samanosuke return for the second and final time, and great action and badass characters for such a great game.

It would make a good Christmas present for your kids ^_^

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege (Finale Of Nobunaga)

Well lets just keep the things simple. I've played all of the games

    1. Onimusha Warloads 2. Onimusha 2 : Samurai's Destiny 3. Onimusha 3: Demon Siege

While all 3-of the games have a very interesting story. But the bad guy just keeps rising again and again in every single title up to this one. In the 3rd"Onimusha 3: Demon Siege" Nobunagas reign comes to an end. I won't spoil it that how it came to the end. But if you like the first 2-games you'll definitely find yourself wanting to put an end to Nobunaga once and for all and you'll quite enjoy it.

P.S Although "Onimusha 3: Demon Siege" was suppose to be the last game in the series but another Onimusha game is going to take place with a different story/hero/enemy etc known as "Onimusha:Dawn Of Faith" but for me offically, the game is over. But I would definitely consider buying the next title if it has the same appealing aspects as the first 3 before it.

    Great Time Beginning to End

I went out and bought this game the first day it was out and played it nonstop.I'm not usually one to do such things but to me, if it's an Onimusha game, It's worth the time. I've beaten the first two games, and still play them today, but unlike most casual gamers, i have a habit of analyzing great games. Onimusha 3 was great with the story telling, but I thought it was a little too much like Metal Gear, as in you play for a few minutes watch cutscenes twice as long, but then again thats what i played to see. I keep it short and just say Onimusha 3 is worth many, many play throughs........10/10 easily

    • Curiosidades
The reason why the character models are not as detailed as in the first two was because this game contained fully 3D environments and ran at 60FPS. The extra details would have lowered the FPS down to 30.
    • Erros de gravação
Mr. Blanc runs out of ammunition in one of the cutscenes. Given that he is in Warring States Era Japan and therefore cannot find more ammunition for his pistol, he should not be able to fire it at all like he does.
