This is my first Indian film I'v seen & I really loved it! The film has really got hard drama & the musical parts are awesome, there dancing sequences are amazing! The performances from the actors were great especially Aishwarya Rai.
I really like the part when Namrata (Aishwarya) & Raj (Abhishek) sing out their feelings for each other it was very romantic & when towards the end Namrata is shouting at Sanjeev (Adi's real father)& decides to choose Raj over him was very heavy drama.
After seeing this film & Aishwarya Rai's performance, it has really attracted me want to watch more Bollywood movies, especially with Aishwarya Rai starring in it.In fact, I just watched Bride & Prejudice & its a great film the same director of 'Bend It Like Beckham, Gurinder Chadha. She is such a genius, mixing Bollywood style with Western movie style.

I've read bad reviews, but I don't agree. I found the whole film entirely enjoyable. Being used to 90 minute films I was worried about the length of Bollywood films, yet I didn't hardly notice the time.
The film captured my attention, partly due to Ash Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, both were captivating and carried the story. I even have the songs in my head still...and that only happens occasionally.
I don't know much about Indian culture but I did enjoy getting to see something un-American, to the point of deciding that maybe I should stick to World Cinema rather than Hollywood.
Personally I will be watching it many more times and encourage anyone who hasn't seen it yet to get a move on!

'Kuch Na Kaho' was another of the Bollywood 'marriage' scenarios, however, with a mix of new cultural definition. The portrayal of the much structured Indian marriage customs are challenged by the desires of love felt by two lovable and yet in love characters. Abhishek Bachchan plays 'Raj'. He extends his acting capabilities beyond doubt with his charming and witty schemes, yet develops a believable chemistry with the extremely eye-pleasing Aishwarya Rai(Namrata). She also plays a wonderful role to which her acting is very suited too, she too with a delightful and somewhat cheeky charm. The movie displays a rich array of colors; music is fantastic and gives the slightly predictable storyline a dazzling backing. This movie is a very funny yet real interpretation of what arranged marriages can be like in today's society...I speak from experience!!
oh dear. it seems that some one does not have any taste. this was a brilliant film giving hope to many girls that not all marriages are arranged. Ash is looking beautiful as always and should not be merited just because she is good looking. she is not a Hollywood bimbo- SHE CAN ACTUALLY ACT!!!! she is great in this film.
'abs bachan' is not good looking but has put a lot of hard work into the film and has tried not to sponge off his father but be remembered for his own talent.
the songs are fab and are appealing to all overall this is a great film for all the family to see. please don't listen to the woman who has posted the other comment.

This movie was absolutely beautiful. Aishwarya's role was wonderful, and she played it very well. She also looked stunning. Abhishek also did a good job. Arbaaz was ok, but I don't think any other actor would suit his role more. Songs were great, especially "Acchhi lagti ho." The kid brings an interesting twist to the story. Ok, so I admit it, not every part of the movie was strikingly different and authentic, such as the scene where Abhishek goes down some amusement park water slide that is supposed to look like a dangerous hill in the middle of a thunderstorm, but the movie had strong emotions. With Aishwarya's great acting, it was easy to sympathize with the characters.
