I've watched this at least 6 times until now. The beauty is hidden in the satires and delectable sarcasms ping-ponged between two married couples. It really reminded me of my mom and dad. The protagonists are nature lovers who live at a house surrounded by their farm in Kerala. After showing the sumptuous love and cute friction between the two, the movie ends on a sad note. But the sadness is so positive too. She changes the emotion in a beautiful dialogue at the end. I've loved watching it and will watch it a 100 more times!

The film talks about the life of an elderly couple and the affection between the two. The impeccable direction by MT coupled with excellent performances by all the actors, especially by Oduvil Unnikrishnan and Nirmala Sreenivasan, makes this movie a must watch for all kinds of audiences. One of the most pleasant movies one can ever find. It is really difficult not to love this movie. A truly underrated gem.

This is a Malayalam language film starring veteran Oduvil Unnikrishnan and lesser known Nirmala Sreenivasan.

Written and directed by MT Vasudevan Nair - a genius known for his great stories and scripts. And he surpasses expectations of a simple storyline about those who are in their sunset years.

The film is about an elderly couple and their days together. Diving on themes of tender love, and how it ripens with age providing cover against loneliness.

They talk about small things, their needs are simple, they give most importance to the young children next door, and thus their lives are very very rich.

And that's precisely the message of the film: value relationships, celebrate togetherness and enrich life!

My favourite film, and it'll be at least "one of the favourites" of anyone who watches this underrated masterpiece.
