Knights of the Highway

To promote the safety and skill of truck drivers this movie has been made. All the other people at home seem to have been lucky enough for this, since it pays off to recognize the qualities of these world series of the buddies of large cars called trucks at night when the sun goes down and you feel like tucking off, this sort of movie always does the job well at the hotel's sofa to feel at home: those hunks sure look good. You don't often have the chance to see these chaps looking so we'll as they do here: a good thing the world's safest drivers feel strong enough to fit the size of those careful machines on the road.

Ed Herlihy narrates this film about how truck drivers live on the road and flirt with the gal who slings hash at the diner where all the diners eat the goulash before it eats them.

There are a couple of peculiarities about this movie that need to be mentioned up front. First, Herlihy narrates it out of the side of his mouth, sounding like Lloyd Nolan got drunk. Second, it's not eight minutes, as indicated in the IMDb credits. The copy I just looked at timed in at 17 minutes, Universal-International logo included.

I'm not sure what the message here is. That truckers, despite what you think when you're trying to avoid them on the road, actually are sensible guys who get enough sleep they probably won't kill you and themselves? That trucking was a big industry, even back then? Probably both.
