Continuity

During the Beer Hall Putsch, Ernst Hanfstaengl is walking next to Adolf Hitler on the way to the War Ministry. In the next shot he is running away from the mob. How did he get to the back of the mob at the pace he was walking?
When Ernst Hanfstaengl listens to Hitler speak the first time, you can briefly see a Swastika flag behind Hitler. It is not until later that Hitler comes up with the swastika symbol and introduces it at Hanfstaengl's dinner party.
When Hitler is speaking to Fritz and putting forward the suggestion to write for his party he is eating a small cake. When he first picks it up he takes one small bite, when the cake is seen again there is very little left.

Factual errors

Adolf Hitler did not beat his dog out of frustration at the trenches, the dog was actually a beloved pet who Hitler called a 'Proper circus dog'. Hitler was also a huge supporter of animal rights in Nazi Germany and even tried to make the whole of Germany vegetarian.
Adolf Hitler's father did not die at home - he died at a beer hall.
In July 1918 the Lieutenant informs Hitler that the unit is to be redeployed to the Eastern Front. Russia had already signed a peace treaty with Germany on 3/3/1918 so by this point there was no "Eastern Front".
Adolf Hitler would never have spit like he did in the movie during speeches at the Muenchen Bierstubl. Despite his atrocities, Hitler was known to have excellent manners and would never have talked and spit up food, as he does during the interview with Fritz Gelich.
Nearly every imitated newspaper shown in the movie reveals wrong usage of the German distinction between the letters "long s" and "short s".

Revealing mistakes

In the Belgium in July 1918, you can see the actors' breath as well as snow on the ground.
When Mrs. Hanfstaengl argues with the housemaid, a yellow position marker is visible on the floor.
Obvious fat-suit worn by slender actor Peter O'Toole playing the chubby chancellor Paul von Hindenburg.

Anachronisms

The flag with the swastika in a white circle on a field of red was not in use in the early days. The emblem combining the swastika with the German eagle seen on a lectern was not used until the Nazis were in power.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

An officer says, "There is an armed group heading toward the barracks." However, the sound and his lip movement is not in sync.

Errors in geography

Rohm is present at the Bamberg Conference in 1926. Ernst Röhm was in Bolivia from 1923 to 1930.

Character error

While Hitler hands out leaflets in 1919, a newspaper is shown titled "Kommunistische Simme" - a misprint of "Kommunistische Stimme" (Communist Voice).
Eva Braun mispronounces her own name when she introduces herself to Hitler. She uses the common American mispronunciation for Braun, BRON, rather than the correct German pronunciation BROWN, just like the color brown. The "au" in German is OW, just like "ou" and "ow" in English. Braun is also the German word for the color brown and is pronounced the same way it is in English. A German would never pronounce Braun as BRON.
